I searched the archives but no joy. I stayed in a hotel in 2010, but missed the boat this year.

Can't seem to find any real reviews on any of the campgrounds near the resort.

Anyone recommend a campground that's not too far from the resort?

I'm in a tent BTW.

Wilderness Mission. Really close, Reasonable Rates. All inclusive. Stay at a bike park, riding after windham! Thats where I booked 3 nights and 4 days

There's also plattekill. It's a little far, but if you don't have time constraints, it's like $5 and they allow fires.

We stayed at North-South Lake Campground. It was about a 30 min drive I think. Decent showers and beach. Definitely worth hiking up to Kaaterskill Falls near there, as well as the short hike very nice overlook into the Hudson river valley. And I got to chase a bear out of the campsite. Good times.
