Hi guys, i just wanted to know if anyone of you knows
the names / sizes of the seals/orings in these shocks:

Manitou 3way swinger
Manitou 6way/4way swinger
FOX DHX

I want to know what the names are so that i can buy them
from local hydralic stores.

I know some of you have this knowledge.

Fox DHX uses this size:

I have done swingers too, but forget the size now. Can dig it up if you really want, it's something x 2.62mm section.

That's for the shaft sealing o-ring... most other o-rings are non sliding (except the IFP o-ring, which I haven't seen fail) and therefore shouldn't really cause you any issues.

But i'd just pull it apart and take any/all o-rings to a good seal shop and they'll be able to match them accurately for you. That's your best bet if you want to replace them all, because I doubt anyone here has done it or has needed to.

Cheers,
Udi

You want to know my #1 performance tip for the 5ths? Replace the urethane shaft seal (90 durometer) with a Buna (70) or Viton (75) shaft seal. The oring size is "-112" and you can buy a bag of a 100 for $2-$4. I don't know if you can buy less quantity but look around. The stock shaft seal was designed around durability and creats more friction than is needed on the shaft(which is not as smooth as it could be...). I've been using the Buna shaft seal on race shocks for years now and you can get 2-6 months out of them before they start to "sweat" a little oil and they eliminate the sometimes sticky feel.
thats for 5ths, and i am sure a swinger would use the same too.
