Want to build some new wheels, looking for rim suggestions.

I completely agree with this kind of usage for a DH bike rear wheel, i've had wheels that looked like that, ( 321's/WTB laser disc? very similar) admittedly when i had a major ding like the one above i started losing the bead, so i got out the adjustable wrench and straightened it, they just do...

Want to build some new wheels, looking for rim suggestions.

I don't think 28psi on a 2.4" tire is too low, not for that kind of damage to be acceptable in the short-term... 40psi on a 2.4" tire on the rear is just a waste of volume!

Val di Sole 2012 - Official Thread?

I can't believe no one has put Brosnan on the podium, i'll be surprised if he doesn't make the top 5, i don't think he needs to bulk up much more going by his pedal power at South Africa..

Continental Der Kaiser review, since I haven't seen much about em yet

Nice review Steve, nothin like a bit of reality in a write up... So i guess the conclusion is you can't go past the Minion for a tire that you can put on and not have to think about, ie. it's gonna grip predictably in nearly all conditions and you only flat when you fark up.

The REAL Prime Ministers (hayes brakes)

whoa UGLY, i can't help but think that having the pivot three feet from the handlebar will result in poor ergonomics.

    post your 2010 rides!

But what is the need for multiple DH bikes? I'm truly baffled, surely one bike feels the most dialed for you and you just ride that all the time? Or do you really just grab a different rig each time? I know for sure i'd pick one sell the rest and go to whistler till the $ ran out.

    Bike Art Thread

If you say so, but i'm probably not the only one sick of uber-expensive tricked out bike photos and endless debate over suspension superiority etc and the lack of riding action. Sorry if my photo wasn't rad enough, i don't have many photo's of myself riding.

How about less pictures of flashy overspent bikes and more pictures of people shredding?? Here's a little shred and if you must have a bike picture here's my rig, it's old, it's dirty and it works. there's NO art in spending lots of money on a bike.

Bucked OTH approaching steep-takeoff doubles at speed. What's wrong?

forget the rebound! you need to dial in some more compression damping. Really.

The shrinking pics is annoying me too... i can make them bigger by clicking them open but that gets pretty tiresome... Especially when the is so much space on this page, those wide grey bars on the side are useless! ...uhh unless that where the ads i've blocked go?? And where did sam find those...
