Graves ran that combo on his Yet for awhile, so did Santos. Santos gave it because it wouldn't hold a bleed. I recall reading that Graves' mechanic said bleeding the combo was tough.
Has one tried out the Ohlins shock that comes on the Demo 8 on a different frame? Thinking of picking up a used one to try on my Glory 27.5".
Anyone tried one on something other than a Demo?
Quick update.
Used a set of Stan's valves and sealed the rims with clear Gorilla tape. Clear Gorilla tape is by far the best tape I've used. It is super sticky and very pliable. It formed to the shape of the rim really well. I tried using Stan's tape but it kept popping off the rim. Total...
Which Stan's valves are you using? I just ordered a pair of the Stan's 'problem solvers' valves. Designed for rims drilled for schrader. Hopefully that solves the problem.
My Specialized Butcher's sealed right up. Just a bit of leakage from the valve stem.
Thanks for the input guys!
Anyone set up their FR570's tubeless? What valve stem are you using? Since teh FR570's have schrader holes I'm having a hard time getting the DT valves to seal with or without the supplied rubber grommet.
I just built up a set of DT Swiss FR570 wheels for my new DH rig and can't for the life me get my Butcher tires on them.
The went on my trail bike wheels (Reynolds) with out a hitch.
Yes, they are 27.5" tires.
Anyone else experience something similar? I've gone through 4 tire levers.
Maybe it is getting airy. After roughly 20 days of use the it loses almost all rebound damping.
I had a couple of ROCO's and they never leaked. I wasn't terribly happy with the rebound adjustment but overall they felt okay.
I wish I could get confirmation the C2R fits the Demo or not.
Anyone have any riding time on the new Marzocchi Moto rear shock?
I'm currently running a CCDB on my Demo 8 and getting tired of having the oil get destroyed after six months of riding.
Anyone ridden one yet? Any idea if it will fit the Demo 8?
I've got a bunch of brand new Marzocchi ROCO WC's in 8.75" x 2.75" for sale.
Great chance to get a brand new shock in place of your old Fox, Rock Shox, Manitou or Marzocchi shock!

You could also check the Specialized website. It clearly states 1.5" headtube.
i'm 6'5" and have been contemplating 177.5 on my road bike. 190mm on a trail bike, aren't you worried about pedal strikes? Leonard Zinn is a huge advocate of long cranks for tall guys. I believe Leonard runs 215mm cranks on his bikes.
