Go for the Superstars pads. http://superstar.tibolts.co.uk/index.php?cPath=21&osCsid=9dta5qqskb9qooiapjcm5dpl26 ... plus with them if you're running different brakes on different bikes you can mix and match the 4 sets.
which is weird because SC still offer one build kit with SRAM stuff and that is their DH kit (just checked to make sure)..they have also greatly reduced Rock Shox rear shocks offered, the only one still there is the Vivid Air on the V10 Carbon
Not wanting to derail the thread but I am looking for a good quality cycle specific knee sleeve that will give good support and most important can be worn under regular knee armour. Thanks for any advice.
I had my right knee cartilage operated on and have just got back into the forest riding. I tried using the so-called sports knee brace (prescribed by the orthopedic surgeon) under my leg armour and couldn't even bend my knee. Can anyone recommend a good knee sleeve that will give my knee good...
Have you considered getting an elliptical trainer? I have one that has a 170mm effective crank length thereby nearly copying the 165mm cranks on my DH bike...plus you are standing all the time which again mirrors riding a DH...and you get the upper body work-out similar to XC skiing.
I have just got some Formula K24s to replace my Codes...I still have the Avid bleed kit and before I lay down some cash for the Formula bleed kit I thought I'd ask on here if the brass Avid end screws on the syringes fit the bleed holes on Formulas?
If you go to the official Santa Cruz website and catch the main picture on the home page showing Minaar then you can see him wearing the Moabs ... you might have to refresh the page a few times to get to this picture as they have several pictures that take their turn.
