    Yup. The air on the shop floor was as nasty as I remember. Everything that doesn’t get moved or touched regularly is covered in a mixture of oil and dust. Things that get touched regularly ate polished / burnished - almost like the oil is etching the paint. I don’t mind the smell of a machine...

    Need to go to a customer site today. It is a “grind shop” making medical components. Their air handling and filtering is so bad that I can feel the oil & coolant mix in the air. It also smells like locker-room on the shop floor. Everything is covered in oil and dust. It’s fucking gross. Good...

    I disagree on that. The doorseal is designed and manufactured to perform an important function. Otherwise it would not be part of the car. As Jm said, it is a safety feature as well.     I think the usefulness of an RTT depends on how you camp. Campground or serviced campsites are really not where the RTT shines. Teardrop or just a gigantic hunting tent would be cooler. A folded up yurt would fit nicely in the back of your brodozer. I actually really like our “cheapo” CVT...

    I recently grabbed my old salsa a la carte out of storage. Gave it a tune-up, rode it once and noped it up onto the wall as “art.” Admittedly, part of the problem is me. My back, neck, wrists, shoulders, etc. just can’t handle a rigid hardtail anymore…
