Yep before Curnutt foes seemed to be a step ahead of everyone else. They had inverted forks, dh geometry, more travel... then they caught up in the pedaling bull**** of 2004 and their bikes went to total ****. I really hope they lose the Curnutt and start making good bikes again... 6 years...
It's more like a flow thing. The trails at Whistler are bad ass and all, but they always seems to interrupt the flow with something to slow you down, like a road crossing, or an uphill section before a fork. Imagine riding through Samuri Pizza cat, and then at the end instead of a flat turn to...
Hey man! Would definitely try to do the drive to Sun Peaks. We did 3 days in Whistler took a day off and came up here. ...Was well worth it, seems a little cheaper too.
Debating what to do now. Might do SilverStar, stay here, or head back to Whistler. Let me know what you guys end up...
Hhahha hell yeah we have! That trail is crazy, you start hauling ass then you come up on a hidden chican!! Every run down is a close call, but dirt is perfect right now so it's all awesome!
Here's a cool sequence on Insanity..

We were staring at this drop in Insanity, if you go really slow you can roll it, if you go fast you can huck 40 feet!
The jump park!
Steep roll in... thinking this would be tough in the rain...
Fortunately it was not...
Nice Pictures!! ...funny we keep saying Sun Peaks is so much better for advanced riders as it's faster, longer, and more tech than Whistler... guess it's just good for all!
Completely blown away by this place... I just have a time for a couple shots but will be posting tons later... (click to make them bigger)
The burms here are incredible and they just keep going all the way down... 66 total on this trail.
Here you can kind of see how the burms just...
Ahh yes... The Bubba of mountain biking has "paid his dues" and should start destroying it in pro

It's pretty simple, you just have to find the right conversion in your head for your race run. I can't tell you what it is because it's different for everybody. But I can say once you get it right you'll be able to take off 5 to 10 seconds consistently.
Get it down by doing timed runs, and...
I feel inclined to make a quick update.
I ended up buying the Exogen 4000 on ebay for 200 or so. I used it for 6 weeks on a broken ankle, it worked fine. I went back to the doctor and xrayed my ankle to find all the bones were nicely healed. The ligaments were badly damaged and those took...
It's different for everybody, find what works for yourself and you'll start going faster.
There's a lot of books about this for other sports. Tennis was a big one. They wanted to figure out what separated the top 5 tennis players from the guys where ranked 70 and 100. One of the things...
I've been trying remedy hands going out for a long time. ...A few things you can do.... (new gloves only solve blister problems.)
Just like any muscle, I've found you have to stress your hands and let them recover. After a few months they'll start feeling thick and beefy and your hand...
Best course I've ever ridden period! Night and day from the 2006 Infineon national. ...funny, when I would run errands in the town the locals would always become interested once I told them there was a 50 ft jump. Big jumps make things entertaining. High speed helps to... put both in and you...
