All my friends told me it would be difficult, but I learned flatground barspins in like, 20 minutes. That said, I have been riding bikes forever. Hop bars are proving more difficult, and I am not getting any thanks from Minor Blackout (my bike) for dropping her repeatedly.
I get back pain easily.
What works:
Stretching
Hot Baths
Cannabis
Inversion
Stretching
Core Exercise
Yoga/ Stances
Ride standing up more (helps a whole lot actually)
Hard bed with no pillow
Pull ups/climbing
What does not work:
Bucking hay
Falling repeatedly on...
I am not a big fan of lock ons. I think I may just go with longneck xls:
That is not my bike, but I do like to wander my hand position. I got so used to it on road bikes that it annoys me to only have one spot for my hands! Cutting the flanges off of my grips helped, but I want the freedom...
Why is my image data quota next to zilch?
Sorry the pics are so low quality.
The bike came pretty dialed right out of the box. Just needed a few things put together like pedals and front wheel. Thanks to Dans Comp or whoever sets up Stolen's, probably qbp. Anyway, I took the brake off, cut...

Conventional: Slower wear, low chain tension, heavier, less expensive, more efficient, hits logs and stuff more often.
For something that you dirt jump or freestyle, micro drive is...
I remember hammering coins into the ends of my bars once a long time ago. I also made a barend for my touring bike out of some driftwood while touring. Anybody have cool barend mods they would like to share? I have been thinking that endgrain hardwood ones would be cool, or maybe simply money again.
I've been too busy building and riding to even post about it. Maybe pics soon. There is going to be a big bmx/dj scene on Vashon this summer! I can tell already.
