I've seen Slayer 3 times. '91 clash of the titans tour with anthrax, megadeth and Alice in chains was the show. Slayer headlined, it was a full moon at an outdoor arena in orange county. What a show, I'll try to make it to the Sacramento show
I'm still using a front mech and I'm pretty sure I'm the last one. From the reactions I get you'd think a front derailleur was reponsible for mass genocide. I never throw a chain, I ride as hard as 41 year old body will let me and it shifts perfect. Even better with one shift i can cover half...
Next time you are waiting on bti stock let me know, I can give you a heads up before it hits the shelves.
Ironic, I wanted a transfer but it was back ordered for ages. Ended up with an x fusion 15mm hilo.
The Fit4 damper is pretty nice actually. You loose the high speed comp adjustment, but still have the low speed.
Like 'woo said, you only use 2 of the settings unless you ride road too and need a lockout.
Depends on your conditions like most tires. If you live somewhere with traction/moisture they'd work great. Where I live I won't even use and ardent as a rear tire, but many of our 'XC' trails looks like the worst spots on a world cup dh track
Minion DHF F 2.3, Ardent 2.25 R seems like a combo...

So, a rear der that will actually pull into the 11th cog without fresh everything, brakes that are solid, great 2x gearing, good 1x gearing and cheaper prices. I'm down. The 3x is silly though, I guess touring mtb need a 22-40 low gear.
Skip Santa Monica and drive an hour north to Santa Barbara. Velo pro has a demo fleet of kona process 153 bikes and trails worthy of such hardware. Santa Monica trails? Break out a 29 hardtail xc bike ;) There is some good stuff, but pretty non technical.
Finally got some hardware. Picked up a 10/22 50th anniversary in October. I also scooped up a glock 19 gen 4 before the s.s.e. kicked in. Liking both but had shot both before, so no suprise. The ruger is the shit, stainless barrel, ghost ring sight, picatinny rail and flash hider. I set up...
Bronson carbon, s build kit, Angleset. That's about $4800 msrp. Carbon, 150mm travel and the best rendition of vpp yet. A pike, slx brakes, reverb and 2x10
I'm going to slack out my bronson a bit, 67 deg is fine for most stuff but a little hairy in a few spots.
Dh is dead. Enduro is the new black. Buy carbon and don't screw around, the cheap stuff is made from recycled Chinese cardboard and crack babies. The new mantra is water bottle cages, EPO and being Kom of everything . Consult kidwoo on tire choice, gff for lifestyle, and stosh about fashion.
Having serviced two pike dampers recently I hope you have an easier time with the snap ring under the recessed cap area than I did. Sram may make their forks more 'user serviceable" than fox, but they pull some stupid sh!t too. A snap ring where the two holes are partially covered in a recess...
