Looking for a good fr/allmountain air fork, suggestions welcomed

I bought a rock show sector rl single air and love it. Nice and lite and uses the maxle lite axle. Motion control, rebound, compression and air adjustable. Super plush when you need it to be or you can set the motion control to ramp up quicker or just lock it out for climbing. I think 150mm was...

Teva links shoes designed by Jeff Lenosky cheap...

These shoes are awesome and probably the most comfortable riding shoes I have ever owned. I have the Straitline pedals as well that these shoes are designed around and can truly say.... There is a huge difference between other pedals because of the pin size and shape. My old vans don't even...

INFO on 10mm boltup for hope bulb rear 135mm hub?

Nope... that is for the Hope Pro2 hub, mine is a Bulb. I already had the internal conversion kit for mine and got it installed but was worried about the spacers they sent with it slipping without knurls on them. It doesn't and is stiff as all get out now!

INFO on 10mm boltup for hope bulb rear 135mm hub?

The old knurled sleeve fits on the non drive side but not on the Drive side.... Here are the New sleeves and the old ones... This is the new 12mm sleeve and it does fit the drive side but it has no knurles on it to lock to the frame when tightened down.... Could this slip after tightening...

Finally... It came in! My new to me STP 1

Didn't even see him till I was rolling off the grind box. I would have liked to Monster Truck his AZZ but I was about 20 years older than him. Wouldn't have looked good on my part. Just shook it off and told him to pay a little more attention next time.

Finally... It came in! My new to me STP 1

Spoke too soon! Went to the skate park today and some kid took me out on roller blades! I hopped onto a grind box and on exit he snaked my line from behind as I was riding off it. Didn't even see what the hell happened till I was on the ground! Trust me... It'll get it's fair share of scratches...

Finally... It came in! My new to me STP 1

Got a great deal on a 11 STP1 I've been looking for a large for some time now and it just arrived Friday! Ditched the gears and waiting for the rest of my parts to come in but here it is now. Didn't even have a scratch on it anywhere. Might have been ridden 3 or 4 times at most.

When things don't go right ! -- The crash thread

Talk about squirting blood out... Slipped a pedal at the skate park hopping a grind box to manual. Came out of the manual to hop back off the grind box and slipped it in the air, came down 2.5 ft with my leg in between the pedal and the ground. Tore a 3" chunk of my skin along with it and took...

    66rv (2007) vs 66 vf2 (2006) - what is better?

I had a VF2. It was a great fork and worked fine. The only thing that ever went out was the oils seals after 2 years and that's a very easy fix. Use thicker oil than stock as it will cure the top out problem they had with the stock oil. Mine when new, would top out like crazy, in any of the...

    Yeti AS-X vs Transition Covert

One of my friends has a Covert and loves it. He rides it on XC trails, light DH runs and he's super fast on it. His is around 31 pounds with a Rock Shox Lyric up front and a Rock Shox Pearl in the back. I'd say go for the Covert if you want a bike that can do it all.

    help choosing an AM/FR Brake?

I've run Codes for almost a year now and they have plenty of modulation! Tons of stopping power or just scrub off speed with one finger. They are the best brake I've ever used. Their not overly heavy for what your getting either, never had any break chatter or anything of the sort. Just raw...

    stem size

It's not the size of the stem that matters,It's how you ride the bike! All kidding aside.... I run a 50 on my Blitz II, a 50 on my Giant STP, and a 70 on my trail bike. 50's are perfect for all but climbing. If you have a short top tube, you might have to stay with a 70 for trail riding.

    Damage proof seat?

Titec El Norte Prolite This seat works well for me. Very comfortable, solid and lite. It doesn't have a super abrasive cover, so it's easy to move around on. The only hang up is it's not under $50.00 but you can find them for about $60.00 if you look hard enough. I also like the WTB Power V...

    Bike Size

Top tube for fit,Wheelbase for the style of riding you do. DH I like a longer wheelbase. It's more stable at speed, but won't carve turns as well. I like a shorter wheelbase for Fr. It corners better, but not as stable at speed. My Stinky had long chain stays and it felt good, till I got my...
