I just threw it on the scale and it was 39.7 lbs not too bad seeing the build doesn't include any weight weenie...
Thanks, it's a bit lighter than my R9 was and that weighed in around 41lbs. I'll try to get a weight tomorrow. I got it built up late yesterday and had to work a 24 hour shift today so hopefully this weekend i'll get a chance to get it out on the trails.
No idea on the second batch. I know frank was at the heat treater last week but i'm not sure what frames he had. Frank or Bruce would be the one's to ask.
Here's my Sinister F-Bomb! It's not 100% I just need to trim the front brake line and bleed both then she'll be ready to go. Better shots will come when the weather cooperates a little more.
Here's the build
Sinister F-Bomb w maxle
Manitou Swinger X6
Rock Shox Totem Solo Air 1 1/8"
FSA...
I probably won't race again this season but but my DH rig is going to be a Sinister F-bomb(hopefully) with RS Totem Solo Air, Saint Cranks, WTB wheels and Maxxis tires.
I'm on a Sinister Gruitr with a Lyric Solo Air up front and a DHX on the rear. It weights some where in the low 30's but should be going a bit of a diet this winter.

Joe get over it it's not the same bike, the prototype was close to that but the production one isn't very close at all other than a few "stock" parts(ie: shock mounts and seat stay tubing).
p.s. how are...
The splinter was and still is a amazing frame but it had it's issues. The VST is still in the works it's just been staled out by the patent process(sept from what i've heard). This bike is not a bullit copy (i know single pivot= bullit :bonk:) It's aimed more towards the heckler than the bullit...
Finally got myself a production sinister gruitr

I thought the LG-1 could only go down to 34 but when i emailed them regarding lg1 plastic on a 32special backplate I was told that you can use a 32t ring on the lg1.
Thanks it's my favorite too! Here's what it looks like now. With everyone beautifying their bikes I decided to uglify mine(note the orange pc remaining and the ghetto spray can rear)
