Yup............Most of a season,or less, and my one and only Saint derailleur fell apart. Whenever my wifes bikes get upgraded I get her old D's and runnem till they die.............repeat.
Look on your swingarm....under the chain line it "should" have the spec for chain play....if not then check your owners manual/google. It is important that you set the chain play to spec or it could come off and brake the engine case. Your new chain will be too long.....they make MC chain...
Can you purchase an entire spoke assembly? Then cut the bad spoke/nut/thingy out and then fix from there? I didn't know that wheel existed till I opened this thread ......so just trying to help from afar.
If your going to try and bond the hub end back in use thishttp://www.permatex.com/products/product-categories/thread-compounds/retaining-compounds/permatex-high-temperature-sleeve-retainer-detail

That hanger "looks" pretty generic. ....I doubt its proprietary to that builder. From here it looks like an old Kona Stinky hanger. I may have one or five out in the garage. Find a good shop that has a good inventory of parts and see what they have for replacable hangers and match it up.

Get what ever you feel comfortable on and gets you back out riding! If you set your mind to it you could get the feel of a 20" again. You would just have to stick with it until the flow comes back.
In my late 20s I rode cruisers and MTB and thought 20" was too twichy. The people I rode with...
Keep your DH bike and hit up Stevens Pass next summer:weee:

Good job Stevens Pass and all the peeps who helped:thumb:
Yup...the Hammers,Phoenix,Moab etc......Last month we ran the Rubicon and some trails around Reno. We go up to BC a fair amount as well as local stuff. It's alot like the freeride scene....all the good stuff is hush hush except we have to hide the tow rigs...lol
Walker Valley ORV. 20 minutes S.E. of Mt. Vernon. I live in Lynnwood and it takes me just over an hour to get there. Tons of trails for moto but most are too advanced for a beginner. There is,however, a large gravel pit that I see little kids riding in all the time. It's up around the corner...

You are probably refering to Loctite "sleeve retainer". It does work pretty good for this type of thing. I have "fixed" some slightly ovalized head tubes, over the years, by bonding the lower cup in place with sleeve retainer....worth a try. I would point out that these were conventional press in...
