My old sinister R9 was still one of my favorite dh bikes of all time, wish I never sold it- dumped it when old Brad at Nemesis promised me a dh frame and had to buy the ed hardy Demo 7 version right before moving to whistler for the summer. R9+avy was unstoppable.
Wish I never got rid of mine, believe it was number 3 ever made. Ended up trading it for a built 575 when I got to college, needed a trail bike (that a rarely ever rode) and regretted it everyday.
I was living in whistler their first year on the market and wanted the whole line up so badly... until about week 3 when you saw them all limping off the hill and in the repair stands
Well technically you cannot get them as a civilian but....
I picked this gun up after chatting with a buddy who is traveling photographer in the fly fishing industry- he has seen that gun on the hips of fishing guides, private security contractors, and special forces everywhere (he also shoots...
I own a ruger alaska guide shorty 44mag... thing is not fun at all to shoot. Bought it for MT bear protection and luckily never had to use it. Thing causes more harm to the shooter than it does to what your shooting, since its so damn inaccurate. I now carry a FN 57 with custom military grade...
Oh man you have no idea the margin on sunglasses. One manufacturer sent me the packing/ picking slip for a photo shoot once by accident. $2-4 per pair was their landed cost, all the glasses retailed for $250-400. Absurd mark up, that pays for all the marketing and advertising
Not nearly as bad as the mr dirt that i had on my specialized sworks fsr and bighit that constantly jammed my chain on race runs.. thing was a disaster.
I remember Mt Snow/ Snowshoe 2002/3? sitting in a hotel parking lot with Weagle and crew trying to install the first evil chainguide onto my...
Sent in my suspension to push for a rebuild while out on vacation with the fam and upper the spring rate to a 500- might even try a 525. What a difference a fresh rebuild makes and some additional damper tuning up front. Also ghetto rigged the reverse components sag indicator onto the 11.6, 6...
AXS for 6+ months now on the yeti and never going back. Its just so damn easy and smooth. I wore through 2 cassettes and 2 chains in the prior 6 months to going AXS, the current set up in clean and wear free.
I really want the dropper, but waiting for a 200mm option.
From all i have gathered it is the steel cage. shifter looks slightly different but who knows. Overall a steal for the slight weight gain. The Xo1 and XX1 both had the overload clutch- works like a champ!
