Why the hell not? The Sunday’s a pretty good pedaller. An e-bike conversion kit can put a whole new life in it.

You willing to send the frame for repainting? Why are you so set up for this color? There are numerous other interesting ones that might be in stock around you and would be easier, not to mention cheaper cause you won’t need to send the frame too far away. Back in the day when i was repainting...

    New Saint. Finally.

They’ll probably just cut 1 of the existing 12-speed cassettes, probably the XT, to 7 or quite possibly 8 speeds (in order to piss on Sram’s sprockets number). This derailleur cage does seem awfully short, shorter than the current Saint and Sram’s dh-offerings. Also, not very sure, but from the...

    New Saint. Finally.

Why do you need an e-bike specific group? Stronger cassette-chainring-chain combo i understand, but an entire group - what for? Also i’d bet money on them keeping the Saint - it’s got longer and better history! :)

Sea Otter Online will begin in the next days, think it was 03-06.03. At the moment don’t know!

Experience with polishing - me personally not. A friend of mine polished the frame of a friend of ours - he just then put some sort of clear coat on it and that was that. No color change. Why do you need it to be as original as possible?

Check out Pinkbike - here comes the Nukeproof Mega's slayer. And it's called Giga! :D

Nice project! :) While at it, drill the center section - frame becomes lighter by 50-70g, looks way cooler, improves access to shock’s adjustments. :) You 100% bound on going green? Have you considered rawed and polished? Also, what are the new decals like?

11 speed options, Shimano XT or SRAM X1

Was given a shimano rep’s contact to ask him my questions as i was told he has done a thourough test on the xtr 9000 with 11-speed. I’ll write here what he has told me once i contact him but i’m on a trip this very moment. What issues do the new shifters have? What happens with them? Something...

11 speed options, Shimano XT or SRAM X1

A 9-3x cassette is offered by several manufacturers, not only e13. At first thought i can say Leonardi Racing and 3T (pretty sure they had a 9-36, but currently only 9-32t on their website). Not 100% decided on 9-3x, it could also be a 10-3x cassette (easiest way is to get a 10-42t Sram and...

11 speed options, Shimano XT or SRAM X1

I think you don’t understand me. Not planning on going more than 36t biggest cog. Currently running a 10-speed 11-36t setup perfectly trouble-free with a Saint 820 mech. And planning on going 9-34t or 9-36t. But all such cassettes are 11-speed. Info on the net is just to get an 11-speed shifter...

11 speed options, Shimano XT or SRAM X1

Radr cage is for bigger cassettes than 42t - not after that. What is needed for a Saint rear mech to go through 11 cogs trouble-free, with perfect shifting? It’s not just an 11-speed shifter, there’s some mods on the mech as well. Question is - what are they?

11 speed options, Shimano XT or SRAM X1

Sorry for asking in this thread, but has anyone tinkered with a RD Saint 820 to convert it to 11 speed? :) If yes, what’s needed?

    Trunnion mount adapters...why not?

I was interested in some sort of adaptation of a trunnion shock to an imperial-shock frame: a frame using originally a 222x70 shock, and a 225x70/75 trunnion shock. No adapters to use, just check whether the shock’s trunnion end will fit in the frame (in the rocker arm?) and if the bolts...

    Trunnion mount adapters...why not?

I don’t understand the OP’s question that created the thread? OP, what exactly do you mean? Adapter for what? To put metric shock on a trunnion-metric frame? Vice-versa? A non-metric shock on a trunnion-metric frame? Only mode/tinker regarding old and new shocks and frames i’ve read about is on...

Who are they? There’s nothing official, no info, no talk about it anywhere on the web, one big FAT nothing! Probably not official business bu Banshee themselves, so asked here to check if anyone’s heard or saw or read something, to check if someone can share if it improves something on the...

    New Saint. Finally.

A rear mech and an unmarked crankset are on the photos. Anyone seen new brakes or a shifter? :) What could they do with the brakes, how can they make them stronger? By enlargening the calipers?

Yep, Pearce cycles it was. :D I've got a man working with cnc machines and stuff - he once saw this lower shock pin and said it would be easy enough to make a copy of it, if i ever need it. He's the man i'm using for spare shock hardware - his work's quite fine for me. I though about making him...

Sounds like a good build plan. :) The Holy Grail shock is a curious option, but if tuned to the Sunday, might be a worthy combination - haven't heard a bad word about it. For the drivetrain - why not just go for the classic Zee combo? :) Strong, good and cheap! There was an online shop in the...
