    The problem of managing to eat on long rides

    ...and climate. I can not eat 'real' food in the heat. I stick to stuff like fruit snacks or clifbloks. I dislike gels and would rather have something to chew.

    Since you are talking watts, I assume that is halogen light? Any of the LED lights will be a 100% improvement.

    Crap, I'm behind the times. I've been riding for the last few years with a cygolite mitycross 400 with no problem. Time to upgrade, I guess.

    Sometimes when I ride I feel that way. My head must be lopsided because all the sweat drains into my right eye.

    No naked chicks but it worked well. Kept the sweat from dripping into my eye unlike the Halos I've been using. I'll be picking up a couple more.

    I have a 510, and it is more sturdy than you would think. I've actually smacked it into a tree on a tech descent. I run it on the stem now so it is protected from front impacts. The 510 has a tether so if it should fall off, which it never has, I won't lose it.

    If you planning on using one for running, I wouldn't get an edge. You would have to be pretty blind not to be able to see the display on a 500 series edge. I wouldn't mind the map capability, but if your routes are set then not much use for it. I use the turn by turn quite a bit exploring...
