I noticed the question being asked here about Vorsprung having a Tractive tune for your specific frame but that's not how it works. Basically if your shock is a RS Monarch + or Super Deluxe then Vorsprung can do a Tractive tune for it regardless of the frame it's on and if they haven't done your...
I think a modern 29er with say 77/78 sta, the fork dropped 10mm and a 27.5 rear wheel is going to be a vastly different proposition to a Patrol with a big front wheel slapped on. I'm currently in the same boat as you and we are literally the same height so that's what I at least hope if the jump...
They don't have website geolocation issues, they have a shit website and e-commerce platform that actively stands between customers with money and the shoes they'd like to purchase. LTP being a marginally worse alternative. I think it's super professional and reflects well on the brand when they...
Could you work out a way to make it charge less for Canadians? It is already seriously very good, I can think of only chainreaction who make it similarly easy to get an all-in price and the ability to customise the build on top of that is rad. I've been spending a lot of time online...
Whoever is is charge of your international website / sales setup there at GG @mtg @marshalolson deserves a serious pat on the back, trying to work out landed prices on bikes in Canada can be a huge pain in the ass but your site is mint, very impressed.
Following on the e-monstrosity theme, if you ever wanted to convert your bicycle into an underpowered, pedal driven electric timbersled, these guys have you covered.
None of that pricing makes sense, this e-moto-fat-utility-ag-bike thing is apparently only going to be $6k as well. Fascinated to see if any of this comes to market at those pricepoints!
I think a few of those European sites have suspended shipping outside of Europe rather than dealing with customer complaints about covid-induced international shipping delays.
That's true but they won't for example ship to Canada if you order through the US portal. I have a friend down in the states who orders for me and ships them up over the border, a logical and efficient system that we both appreciate.
That only works for you because you are in the USA. The Adidas international sites, even the Canadian one are an abomination and generally have about 5 shoes, total on display in the MTB section. Not 5 models, just 5 random pairs of assorted shoes in total and 2 are probably women's Kestrels.
There are plenty of single-speed electric commuter bikes out there but even for city riding and commuting, gears are nicer. A single-speed e-mtb would need sur-ron-like power to be any fun, luckily they also exist.
Running a stronger, cheaper, heavier drivetrain on an e-bike makes sense from just about every perspective. I 'get' that companies want to have an AXS-equipped super bike for your dentists orthodontist to top out their range but at the rate that ebikes chew through drivetrains I can't ever see...
I run flats year round and now run a goretex over sock and a merino sock against my skin stuffed into my regular 510 Trailcross and am really pleased with that setup. Winter here tends toward the wet and milder end of the spectrum and wet feet are a hateful joy-sapping vampire for me so I find...
