    Taipei Intl Cycle Show 2014

MK is not a brand, it's actually a carbon manufacturer who makes frames for a number of popular brands. The Taipei show is primarily for the vendors to show their wares and manufacturing capabilities in hopes of attracting new clients. The 'catalog' bikes as some like to call them are a way...

any team rumours nonsense this year

Years ago, unfortunately. Closest challenger to Hannah is Remi Thirion.

Schwalbe introduces Dual chamber tires for ultra low pressures

Maybe you missed it in the article: "Each tire is split into two sections, both need no tube."

Schwalbe introduces Dual chamber tires for ultra low pressures

It's probably not a rigid steal valve in the traditional sense, I'd assume the space between the rim interface and the inner chamber is probably flexible.

    Mick Hannah. No contest.

MUST DO Downhill & Enduro events for 2014?

Sea Otter Enduro is going to be the event of the season. Count on it.

    Leogang 2013 - Season ender...

Read again, I think you've misunderstood me. Leogang is the way it is because they want a 'sustainable' trail, which has come to mean as maintenance free as possible. All fine and good, just don't call it a World Cup track. But with no incentive to do otherwise don't expect it to change...

    Leogang 2013 - Season ender...

Wait for snow to melt, open bike park, close bike park, ski all winter, wait for snow to melt. . . . sell tickets while never touching a shovel again. Lather, rinse, repeat for 4 or 5 years.

    Leogang 2013 - Season ender...

Results will depend on the weather, outcome will be determined by the conditions? Because Gee can't ride fast in the mud? Champery 2010, refresh your memories.

Hafjell (NOR) 2013 World Cup #5

So much stupid, and typical classless gay boy comment thrown in too. Nice. And some of you wonder why most threads these days are just the same 12 guys talking among themselves, grinding the same old axes, and a mod who still thinks adding 'derp' to everything he doesn't like is clever.

But there is clearly a measurable lack of traction when not wearing socks.

    World Champs 2012 Thread

Lighter front wheel and a special thinner, mini-knob version of his usual tires on the rear. But really, that's not that much different from the sort of thing that goes on at all the world cups. Everyone is always looking for an advantage and the term 'stock' bike is a bit dubious. Even when...

    Banshee Rune V2

For what it's worth I won the latest Taiwan 'national' round on one last weekend. 2nd place was OG Belgian national champ, also on a Rune 2. That bike rips!

Some guy named Nico, who retired with 10 rainbow jerseys and the record for World Cup wins (at the time) all at the ripe old age of 26.

    World Champs 2012 Thread

So are Nico, Atherton, Maes, Minnaar, Barel and Absalon on 650b; Gracia and Leov (check the stage results from last EWS) on 29, Mosley on 26 and 29.... etc. So many variables in any trail, even PMB, that you'll never be able to attribute a result to just wheel size or suspension travel...

    World Champs 2012 Thread

I'd be surprised if Gee had any idea how much Greg's bike weighs or what tires he's on, or even cared. It's far more interesting to the guys who think it's funny to write 'derp' in every other sentence. But I don't think any of them are racing.

    World Champs 2012 Thread

Maybe because they spend more time worrying about standing on the podium than standing on their scale? UCI's not giving out awards for shaving grams.

Mont Sainte Anne (CAN) 2013 World Cup #4

I think he'll be too busy in Whistler racing late-90's DH, otherwise known as 'enduro' *just to be clear, I think the EWS is f'ing brilliant, and it's a shame both these events have to be on the same weekend.
