Well I just got a new set, and i was messing with the pad adjustments (didn't read the manual) and I thought they were bled badley because I almost had to pull to the lever to get them to even grab the disc.
I turned the pad adjustment knob towards "IN" because i thought that would move them in...

that's way beyond "just a bit more"....
thats the old school (roughly 5 years old) hayes 22mm chainstay mount.
most brakes owuldnt even work if you had an adaptor cause theres not enouhg room b/w the fram and the chainstay.
best bet is to try and find an older hayes brake with this 22mm caliper...
a rebleed and they'll be as good...
