    e.13 shiftrings?

thanks Philip, looks like the canadian distributors won't have them for a few weeks at least. I just set up the e13 Dh crankset and guide ring with a new LG1+ guide on my Intense 6.6 and I'm very impressed with them. Tolerances were super tight and the install instructions were spot on as far as...

    e.13 shiftrings?

I see there is a 26-38 double ring package available from e.13 for the 15.G/ex crank, and I'm wondering if they are in fact 4x104 bolt pattern. Also whether they are 10 speed compatible? I want to use them on my RaceFace Dues cranks, I found out today that the new Turbine 2x10 cranks are 4x120...

    dvd player for ubuntu 10.10

Just installed the new 10.1 Ubuntu build on my old tower PC and it's working great. That said the linux movie player app doesn't want to play dvds. Any suggestions on a 3rd party app for dvd playback? Or could it just be a driver issue?

    XX shifter XO rear Der?

think about it this way. Sram uses 1:1 actuation, and Shimano has been 2:1. Meaning that while both an XT and x9 shifter (nine speed) have nine clicks, the sram shifter cannot be used on a shimano 9 speed drive train because not enough cable is pulled per click to properly actuate the shimano...

    Rockshox CSA/Lower compatibility

So I just scored a Rockshox Tora upper unit (crown steerer stanchions) along with the stock rebound cartridge. Can I mate these to a revelation/pike/argyle/reba lowers with Maxle 20mm set up? Assuming I also get the correct damper and springs for the other leg?

Avalanche boxxer upgrade kit out! Will fit majority of forks!

AFAIK the 2004+ 7" forks can be swapped over to 8" with the right springs and dampers from rockshox, so it stands to reason that this would work. Should I just email Craig and see what he thinks? Whats the 'real' turnaround time for getting him to do it?

Avalanche boxxer upgrade kit out! Will fit majority of forks!

Well I have loosely been following this thread over the past while, and I think this is right for me. I just bought a BNIB 2004 boxxer team, but thanks to my buddy riding it once, the rebound cartridge is pooched. Any insight on converting this fork to 200mm travel from 170mm with the AVY kit...

    E-13 prototype crank

stands to reason that the hive cranks are real similar to this e.13 proto... i believe there is some shared ownership between the two companies. Also, regardless of what e-pinions we conjure up: has e.13 failed us yet? Does dw and crew ever let a less-than-rad product hit the market? not that...

    XCX Seat Tube Mount Prototype

Just couldn't wait.... Haven't had a need for the full LG1 all winter, been riding mostly XC. 10+ hours of singletrack with no dropped chains as of yet. Looking forward to the real deal for my upcoming 29er build; bb92 and 1x10 drivetrain is going to require one of these bad boys

Anyone ever ride a fixed MTB? what am i getting into?

i can't say that a DJ bike would be my choice for getting into fixed mtb, but I love it. I currently have a fixed/free set up on a modern cyclocross race type bike, and a 1987 Specialized Hardrock. Lots of fun, start slow and have a blast

    Anyone running Mavic 721's tubeless?

My 721 rim with 20" tube / ghetto tubeless set up has been working great with a Maxxis Ardent non-UST tire. That said it was a pain to get it to seat and bead up. They may not be the best choice for tubeless, but it does work. You should be happy with the 823s, I have a set on Saint hubs for a...
