the Hope topcrown/stem is the best setup for 2010 and newer Boxxers. I tried a few stems, Point One, Deity dm, Twenty6, Sunline and even the Poit one with ti bolts was heavier then the Hope setup. Most important the stiffest setup, it really changes the Boxxer handling
They are very similar, the bolt is silver and the outside is black. Opposite of the Tracer. My bolts and the other M9s we have sold had the solid curved head with the E-clips then without. This is the first M9 I have seen with these lower bolts, we got it in last Thursday.
Ok I have had my M9 since last November. First box link was machined a little off, so the chips would move/click a little.
I received a new box link and chips and have not had a problem since.
I also have the problem with the lower linkage bolts coming lose, cleaned it all out, degreased it...
Actually those are not the ones in testing right now. There is going to be a redesign of the box link.
the tolerances of the original flip chips were slightly off and that was corrected in the first couple of batches. Those owners are able to get the current linkage.
Weird just got off the phone with Intense, the link is not officially out yet. Team riders and some employees have it. It is highly likely it will go into production soon.
Do you have the link that the inserts for the flip chips where remachined? Because those have been available for awhile...
before everyone freaks out they are working on a revised box link, from what i understand original owners will be able to get the new link for free once it comes out
I love my Tracer 2 BB height is not an issue because remember VPP tends to run more sag. With a pretty solid build it is just under 30lbs with a RS Reverb post and Angleset HS at -0.5. It climbs like a goat and decends like a much bigger bike.
The Carbine is a little steeper and a little less...
