I really like the smoothness and tight berms in happy hour, but the jumps and drops on hellion are sick. Its also cool because it takes a pretty dialed line to take advantage of all the trail has to offer.
The thing with anodizing is that it reflects the finish of the bare metal. It doesnt hide anything. So even if the frame is bead blasted that will leave you with a rough, granular type of finish. Not smooth and shiny like say an anodized hub that has a machined surface. You could have the frame...
Yeah upper hellion was still a bit muddy, but it wasnt as bad as last weekend. I was still riding that trail from the top most of the day. I dont see it being much different this weekend, it ooks like rain thursday and friday so if you have the option go sunday :thumb:
Looks really good. Iv e used that paint before. I painted my road racing helmet with a few different colors of that paint. It should hold up well other than where the spokes come in direct contact. It will most likely rub off there but shouldnt be noticeable. Just be careful when assembling :)
Wow, for that price even if the frame only lasts a season its worth the coin. Between the components and the experience of going over there and having full support at the course with coaching its a pretty awesome deal I would say.
On a fork thats not designed to use air for dampening I dont think its a good idea. Like demo9 said, you will have all kinds of funky ramp up between the building air pressure and the coil that is trying to achieve the same thing.
