General Whistler 2022 thread time!
So who's going or already there? Trails running good?
A few stray observations from abroad:
* Accommodation seems to be ridiculously expensive (more than usual)
* Creekside gondola isn't running this summer, which sucks
* BC Transit seems to be in...
Plus-sized tire for the front: Yes or No?
Current set up is a 2018 Santa Cruz V10 with 26" wheels (Mavic 729s) and 26" Boxxers. Bike jumps and corners really well but looking for a bit more roll over capability for the rocky tech stuff so looking into a plus-sized tire (26x2.8) for the front...
About time we had a DH Team Rumours thread..
Jack Moir no longer the third wheel at Intense. No announcements yet, but there's seem to be a fair bit of chatter about a move to Giant. Also talk of a possible move to EWS for Moir..:wtf:
General Whistler thread time!! Let's get the bro stoke going.
A few questions to kick things off:

Some interesting pre season victories:
Bulldog at Crankworx Rotorua
Loris at Windrock Pro GRT
Gwin - Fontana (does this count?)
Martin fvcking Maes schooling everyone in EWS #1 on a mullet bike!!
Pierron??
Very interesting season ahead. Can't wait to see how an injury free Gwin stacks up...
So I'm on the fence about heading to Whistler in August this year (from Australia) so why not have a general Whistler thread to get the 'bro stoke' stoked...
A few initial questions:
How are the new Creekside trails?
I've heard that they've put an irrigation line in down A-line? Is it...
Useless poll time...
So with more and more WC racers having made the switch to the 29er DH bike this season, do you think you'll make the jump to the bigger wheel size for your next DH bike purchase and why?
(Oh, and I understand that it's virtually impossible to buy a 26" DH bike these days...
So Cairns World Cup thread time?
Track preview here:
The track isn't the most technical, but has some pretty fast sections, a decent rock garden and pretty big sprint to the finish line at the bottom.
Would love to see Mik take it out, being it's in his hometown and all, but my...
So since this place has been pretty dead recently, thought it might be fun to look at how the WC guys are doing in their local races in the off-season and make some misinformed, completely speculative extrapolations as to how they might do in the 2014 World Cup circuit.
I heard that Gwin was...
