I'm 210lbs and race 4X and ride angel fire,minus the super rocky stuff on arch rims, hacked some pretty nasty **** on then and they hold up fine( meta 4X 100mm travel). I also have flow rims on my trail bike(transition bandit rear 130mm,140mm fork) because I wanted something al little tougher...

XT brakes ,they were out of XTRs trail at shop and distributors. 180 rotors but might go back to 160 these brakes work way to well.

I rode a week with Xtrs in Whistler on my DH bike stop like a dream all day.
But I wonder the same as I'm building a trail bike. and don't want to pay twice the price for a slight weight penalty.
building a trail/xc bike and having a hard time deciding which drive train to run or rather shifting.
running XTR cranks (2X10) and brakes. cause i love them.
I run shimano saint cranks and sram X0 on my DH and 4X mostly because the springs seem stiffer and less noisey.
but this trail bike...
they have plans that include canada just change your plan you can receive call but not data. its not much more a month but you can change your plan back once youre back
I have been riding downhill and 4X for the pass year.
I swore I would never ride up hill but now I've tried it and really into it. I have tried a transition Covert and hated it ,also a commencal meta 5.5 seem really short . I tried A Maverick Durance liked it a lot but seems like an old design...

I kinda like my yard now but if I was to rebuild I would want a better plan. To utilize my limited space the best way possible. And sometime 8 stoned guys standing around going " I don't know may that'd be cool I guess....... Burn one dude"

i have the new Jackal and the old yeti,
I was going to go with the new Yeti but already had a regular fork and didn't want to buy a new fork so I went with the Jackal and love it. think the Jackal looks better
