    Truck or keep subaru

No, I have not. My last Subaru (a 2002 OBS) needed them replaced around 88K miles. I would hope they got the headgaskets sorted by 2011, but it is pretty much the same motor as the old OBS. I had the timing belts replaced at 120K and the clutch at 130K. The clutch was actually fine, but...

    Truck or keep subaru

Thanks for the replies. I'm still not sure because I would like a truck for offroading and overlanding just for fun and exploring mountain roads near my house and in West Virginia. My plan was to get a cheap truck for such and keep the Subaru, but my dad wants a small MT car now that he is...

    Truck or keep subaru

So, I drive a 2011 Subaru Impreza hatchback 5sp with 140K miles. I've had it since new. Since buying a house I've been considering buying a pickup truck for house projects and yard work. Also, a truck bed would be helpful for dirty/wet gear and bikes. I have a roof rack for the Subaru with...

    Blue Mtn PA

Yeah, I rode Hydro counterclockwise. Seems like a must do every time you go to Raystown. I did Allie>Grippis>Ridge>Berry Patch(never rode Barry patch before)>Sidewinder>Osprey (lower half)>Hydro>Eagle>Switch (climb)>Doe. With 3 breaks, took me right around 2 hours. I'm slow on climbs.

    Blue Mtn PA

Thanks for all the info on Blue everyone. I'll be sure to be back next summer. If JustMTB can manage to not break his arm again, maybe do another east coast DH road trip lol. I think Miles of Smiles to Ewok Village or Jambalaya to OCS to Loose Cannon would be my favorite runs. I did manage...

    Blue Mtn PA

I rode Blue on my trail bike today. Rode everything except Empire. Park closed before I even got a chance to check out Empire. Oh well, I'll check it next year. The tracer handled everything just fine, even the ladder drop to Rainbow drop on Miles of Smiles. The only hiccup was a flat on...

    Blue Mtn PA

I'm coming from the Pittsburgh area to North Jersey. I have ridden Mtn Creek before and was originally planning to ride there this Sunday. However, I have never ridden Blue Mountain and decided to check it out. I've been impressed with what the Tracer has been able to handle. The new trail...

    Blue Mtn PA

More riding opportunities is what I was thinking. The M6 is also 26" = totally unridable. Plus the tracer is much more fun on jumps.

DH: M6 Trail bike: Carbon tracer w/ a pike and jade. I've ridden everything at the local mountain, 7 springs, with my tracer including the new trail, KT7, on the north face.

    Blue Mtn PA

I'm going to jersey for work next week and planning on riding blue mountain on drive out there on Sunday. To anyone that's ridden Blue, should I take my old DH bike or my coil shock trail bike? If I take the trail bike, and have time on the return trip a few days later, I may try to get a...

New "trail bike" rides for 2015 (No DH bikes allowed!)

Waiting on some shock bushings then I'll be part of the short stem coil spring crowd.

    Marzocchi 380 C2R2 Ti & Moto C2R Shock

So I just received a 2015 380 ti the other day. Inside the box is an additional spring. Which spring is this and which one is already in the fork?

    Carbon M16....

I think a carbon Tracer with a coil spring is as close as you'll get to a carbon Uzzi from Intense. I have a Jade on the way for my T275c. enduro is the new freeride.......

    Intense M16....

I'm only going by comparing numbers. My M6 is the only Intense M bike I have ever ridden. Is the M9 that much better? The few that are left are almost half price compared to the M16.

    Intense M16....

The sleeker look and the slightly longer top tube are the only real selling points to me over my M6. I like the shorter chain stays and lower bottom bracket on the M6. I never really saw a need to replace my M6 with an M9. The bigger wheels are really the reason for the M16 and only because...

    Random Picture Thread

There's short piece of a street and the next town up from me that's crazy steep. A VW in front me spun his front tires on it dry. Made me nervous in my stick shift Subaru. If I would have stopped I would've fried my clutch to get started again.
