Not to derail the thread somewhat, but does anyone know if the CCDB Air volume spacers can be retrofitted to the Vivid Air? Mine is painfully linear, and would love to sort it out!
Hi guys,
Hopefully a very short open & shut case here.
I've acquired a 2007 Morewood izimu and receive a new shock for it in a few days. However, I didn't get the reducers with the frame, and am bereft a pair of callipers with which to measure. I believe the forward mount is 22.2mm (which...
This. The only problem with the Zerodes is the fvcking tiny sizes they come in! A large Zerode sits about a medium in most bikes, and borderline small on a Demo.
I'm going to make the assumption English isn't your native tongue; but you've got it all arse backwards.
Peat tested the tyre first and recommended it. Greg used it and commented on the speed it rolled at, but that he felt sketchy on it. No negatives about costing places.
****; the thing...
I'm currently on a 2011 Demo coming off of a 2008 Morewood Izimu.
Although I've never ridden the Banshee, I can offer some information on the Demo.
The best way I can think to describe the frame is "A single pivot with braking traction" because really, that's pretty much the main and only...
Mine was on two different bikes as well, one with a 135mm rear end, the other with a 150mm, for what it's worth.
That must have been a hell of an impact! I left my bashguard a bit of a square after both seasons, but the tabs held up good 'n strong.
I ran my saints and SRS+ for two seasons with absolutely no problems. Never dropped a chain, never jammed, never did anything wrong.
It was damn near silent too. Obviously set up is always key, so just make sure everything is lined up perfectly.
Boy, I resurrected a D8 from the grave a couple seasons back and ended up loving it! I basically ended up killing it good 'n hard, and had to trash it. Cracked rear triangle, bent linkage and pins, and all the hardware was bent or snapped too. (Not a hack!) Anyway, here's a picture in its prime!
I ran Enduro eyelet bearings in one end of my Morewood for just shy of a year. I have to say, if it wasn't for the case my bushing was gone I'd have regretted the purchase. You really notice the difference pushing the bike in the workshop, but whilst on the trail there's SFA difference that I...
Apparently it does work; Bizmojo (I think that's his name - fella in Indonesia) has been running new style 4 pots with old Saint levers for like 2 years.
e*thirteen cranks currently come with a standard 83mm BB which you thread into the adapter cups, but they are working on an 83mm direct pressfit cup, which will be available in the near future.
Because no matter what happens you bitch!
You want everything from one man!
Just as the engineers go by cheap, strong, light, you can apply the same to retail.
Cheap, fast, service; pick two.
The guy sells stuff fvcking cheap, gets inundated with unexpected orders and has to play...
I found the little gap you're talking about!
Thankfully, I have a little 6 speed cassette jobby that doesn't come (too) close, however, with my slight OCD I went over the lot with a fine tooth comb; pulling and pushing the chain in every direction it could ever want to go, and found it could...
Yep - it's the new bike time (here in Australia anyway!), so I suppose it's time for the new thread.
I'll start with my 2011 steed.
Frame - M 2011 Demo 8
Rear shock - Fox DHX RC4
Front shock/fork - 2010 Boxxer WC
Handlebars - FSA Gravity Light 800 (Not shown)
Stem - Funn RSX
Headset -...
Apparently so - a video a while back confirmed they'd tweaked it for more rearward movement.
13.5" / 64*
Just got my frame and have built it up. So much love! It sits at about 17kg right now with a not too conscious build. Can't wait to slay'er tomorrow!
