there are 2 screws (1 on each side) that adjust the spring tension, tighten and/or loosen those depending on what you need each side to do! also you can take the pads off and take out or swap the washers around to make them work better....once youve got them dialed in and not rubbing you can...
ive been practicig lately and i found its alittle easier if you start by riding a wheelie, find the spot where you are comfy and then just stop pedaling and rid it out, after a while you should just be able to pull up and manual knowing where the"sweetspot" is! dont be afraid to use your...
arent there a few bikes that have adjustable chainstay lenghts? maybe an Evil? The only problem i would see with using a trials bike for DH or DJ would be gearing and speed issues! I think they could take the abuse, They take more abuse from trials riding i would think
just my .02$
i actually did the opposite! ive learned many trials tricks and things on my MTB, even with my seat all the way up where i normally ride XC with it, now i dont have many buddies to ride with and i dont like trail riding alone so im looking into buying a trials bike to further improve my...
:D say dad, is that bill shakespear over there;)
haha.. i actually didnt even think about the location too much, that would be funny! i was kinda starting to think no one would catch on to the name.
is there any stores online that have a good amount of trials parts? I want a catalog or something that i can actually sit down and look at, like nashbar or performance cycle! anyone know where i could find one?
ive been thinking about your bike eastcoast, if i had a few bills to spare id be all over it. hopefully i can get it before you sell, ill let ya know!
LBS: Im a huge fan of the MKI and MKII but i think your MKIII has got to be one of the nicest ive ever seen, unless im thinking of someone...
prolly the same as a bmx but you might have to lean back a little farther... try it down hill first to get the feel of it and find your sweetspot:cool:
sweet. thanks! but what is the difference between mod and stock bikes? is that the tire size? ive been using my 17" gary fisher for trials and have been wanting a real trials bike to make it easier and to get alot more technical, ive been looking around alot lately at all the links ive seen...
oh yea i forgot: for those of you who said you fall to the side. before you start to lean or lose your balance just kick your back tire out to compensate. sometimes i can just twist my body and throw my weight to do the same.. but anyways it all comes with practice! keep riding:thumb:
first off, pedal kick? whats that?
second, find your center of balance! can you ride a wheelie? when your in a wheelie you get to a point where you can just sit and pedal and pretty much just go. well, i can anyways. But find a spot where you are comfy. thats what im trying to say. find...
