The Official Iron Horse Sunday / DW-Link Tech. & Tuning Section

150ish for me. I was running closer to 40% sag with more lsc and hsc, but found the bike to be more stable when things get moving with less sag and a little softer compression tune. Side note also is I run the Boxxer rc with 5% sag up front and compression set 3 clicks from full closed with a...

Both of these pictures are about a year old now but you get the picture. Since replaced the old linkage with the R7 style. Frame is an 08, Boxxer RC, CC Double Barrel, and random assortment of parts along with a MTX wheelset I build up for it.

    SKF seals for Boxxer?

Question regarding the Boxxer SKF seal subject: Since the overall height of the boxxer seals would be ~15mm and the skf seals overall height is also ~15mm why would this not work? I know the height of each seal is different, but that should not affect the fork since there is no step of catch...

    IH Yakuza...speaking of bikes

They are fun bikes. I bought one for the same reason, price. The fork is not great, and I destroyed the internals not long after buying it. The geo is actually really fun and playful to ride, and the 66 degree head angle is a good thing for the type of riding most people buying an entry level...

    Pants Vs Shorts

Would naked count as running a skin suit, and thus banned by uci, or would it not fall under that? Actually curious about their rules as far as t-shirts go, after seeing that no one really runs short sleeves for wc rounds. Is there a rule like bmx where elbows have to be covered?

Quick question about the ds and 4X tracks: Would it be any fun on a dh bike, looking to avoid bringing two bikes up for the race?

    XC training for DH (pedals)

I run flats for dh and xc. I am riding xc for fun and training, so I don't care that I could squeak out a couple of seconds on a 2 hour xc ride if I were to wear clips. The fact that I can go out and play on the xc bike likes its a mini dh bike is way more fun.

    National qualifying process..

The local rep for the Carolina's is Stuart Lamp (slamp@usacycling.org). Just type up a list of your race results and he can do the upgrade. I can't remember is the Collegiate license includes a mountain one, but I think mine did a couple of years ago. It should say what you have on your...

Winter is rough in Charlotte (vid inside)

The trail is actually around 500ft elevation drop in less than 90 seconds for a run. If someone would come build a lift to get us up the hill it would be sweet. Plans are in the way to build a longer route to get more riding in per push up the steep hill. And this trail is not poston...
