Just a frame I think. Anyone want to swap too - for a Faction 22 set up, Frame, forks, wheels, 4 tires...
The geo on the 20's seems to be pretty similar. I just want at least 21tt, and no steeper than 74.5.
Yeah. After a bit more thought and research I think 74.5 would be fine, just more than that feels way too twitchy, and that's the difference between the 20's I've liked or not. That and the longer tt and bigger bars.
I've been riding a Faction zeitgeist 22 last couple of years , enjoying it but feel a change coming on. Most 20 inch bmx have felt too twitchy for me but just had a go of my friends custom Standard with 21.5 tt and big ass bars and it felt great. I may not need that long and thinking of a 21 or...
Have you guys heard of this magazine. We've had it in the U.K. for 7 issues now and it's awesome. Really good in depth articles and interviews and great pics. It's free too, just pick it up in your local bike/bmx store. They are just starting out in the U.S so don't know how available it's going...
Yeah. It's the production part being real that interests me.
It seems as though the Amero is going to have forks for 10 (3/8ths) axel slot. So won't fit with the Zeitgeist wheels.
I was looking at some of those prototype frames. Can I use the Zeitgeist fork with a frame that is machined for...
The Faction guys have said they should be ready to sell mid june. Anyone got any news of the S & M 22. I can't find any refrences to it apart from rumours on forums. Is it for real?
OK. The tyre works pretty well, except there was a wobble in it. I'm not sure though if this is gonna be such a big deal. Both my Faction tyres have wobbles. This was a bit more extreme but I put like 100 psi in it, which I think was too much. I let air out, it still had a wobble but rode...
Will do. I bought it from bikewharehouseltd, which is the 3rd one on your list and the cheapest. They sold out of 10 tyres in 2 days after I bought my first one, which was interesting. They restocked now and i ordered another one. If you look at the picture of that tyre and the Pirhana one , the...
Tyre arrived today. I fit it but havn't ridden it. I'm impressed with how it looks. It's about the same weight as the Faction tyres, a tad more. I got one of the 22 x 2.20. (Faction is 22 x 2.125) It looks much smaller than the Faction tyres which suits me on the back. lets me take another link...
It's an a head type headset. I'd had it fitted in the shop and was fine but started to make a gritty sound. I just stripped it down, cleaned the bearings and cups. Couldn't see any damage. Repacked it and the gritty sound is still there. It turns smooth. Did some grit get in there again? Or...
Just thinking how bored i am with Faction not releasing their new stuff... but also how much I still like me Zietgeist. Anyway.. here's a picture of it now. I just wanna change the cranks, tyres and maybe wheels. Also a pic compared to the Sunday wave c.. which is the other bike i would...
Ha ha. Older guy. I must be ancient. Im 45 and started riding again a few years ago after a 20 plus year break. Sorry I can't ride with you as I'm in the U.k. But just wanted to say how much I'm loving riding...just as much as I did back in the olden times.

I havent' had any problems with 20 inch tubes. I blew one of my 22 tubes though. When the other one goes I'll replace it was a 20. Put plenty of chalk dust around the tube. Can't wait for those new tires though.
I agree. I think in this case it's just a matter of the pads being too hard for this kind of rim. I guess I could rough up the rim ... or i'll probably just get the hombre brake and then I will have a nice choice of pads I can use.
