You need 4 bearings, 2 on each side. For the rest of the linkage and the main pivot you'll need 2x6901 and 2x6806. Might as well get a full set of fresh bearings while you're at it!
I'm 6'1" and couldn't be happier on my XL. I used to ride a Large Revolt a couple of years ago but it always felt cramped and like I was way too much over the rear wheel when things got steep and gnarly. The XL gives me more room to move around without ever feeling like an aircraft carrier, it's...
Some more news from team sponsor CRC:
"It’s with great sadness to let you know that Team ChainReactionCycles.com/Nukeproof rider Matti Lehikoinen was involved in a serious crash while racing at the Nordic Downhill Championships in Kungsberget-Sweden over the weekend.
Full details of the...
Some insight on Matti's condition from Robin Wallner's blog teamarebikepark.blogspot.com:
"The joy of winning wasn´t very long lasting as i pretty quickly understood that Matti had crashed bad and was seriously injured.
All i realy know is that he hit his head so hard that the helmet colapsed...
What the heck is up with SC's pricing in Europe??? RRP in Germany for a V10C frame with Vivid Air is 4000 Euros, which is like 5300 USD. Hucknroll.com sells the exact same frameset for less than 3300 USD. UK prices are a little bit better, about 4700. Still crazy expensive and a lot more than...
The Voltages used by the Scott WC team have 200mm rear travel as far as I've heard of. The front shock mount is a little bit different than the production ones, and the shock is mounted upside down.

The Gambler is way to heavy and sluggish IMO. The...
He had one back in early July when I met him in Sweden, or at least I think it was his as all the components where the same as his sponsors and it was standing outside his condo. Stealth black with NS stickers, looked pretty cool IMO. Rumours are rumours though, could've been whatever reason for...
Martin recently got hooked up with an Evil Revolt for his big suspension needs. He still uses that old Hooker though as the word is he's not too happy with the new full suspension slopestyle rig from his official bike sponsor NS.
Have no doubts he can do well at Rampage. In fact the guy could...
Just back from injury and finally time to put my frame back together, so I didn't notice that the dog-bone links I got from Evil HQ are different from one another until now. Scratching my head here, which one goes where, and how? Drive side, non-drive side?
IH8Rice, any idea how to mount the new hardware? Got a new set waiting to be installed, just not sure exactly how to do it. The shoulder bolts are pretty obvious but where do you put the plastic washers, and how should the dog-bone be placed?
Ok, here's a few Scandinavian parks with lift access:
Sweden:
Åre, www.arebikepark.com – biggest park in northern Europe with 4 lifts, 30+ trails and 3 000 feet vertical. Singletrack heaven. Great bike town.
Järvsö, www.jarvsobergscykelpark.se – built by Gravity Logic. Small but...
According to an e-rumour and some people I met over the weekend (sounds reliable huh) Evil has had some serious problems with the factory that produces their frames. Apparentley a huge chunk of frames didn't pass the quality control, for what reason I don't know.
Last week, on Thursday, I got...
Latest update on (at least Euro orders) is, you guessed it: maybe this week!
"From speaking with our factories in Taiwan, we are looking as though some product will be ready to ship this week. I am still waiting for a final confirmation from Taiwan that I hope to hear soon."
Sorry, but this is...
Not sure if this latest Evil HQ update makes you feel better or worse, you might have heard something similar a few times before:
"We should be shipping next week everything."
So, yeah...
