Anyone previously encountered the bolts/bearing caps on one side of their DW link rear axle / main pivot axle being stuck onto the axles themselves?
On each of my axles I can only get one side off and the other side seems pretty stuck on - would ideally like to remove so I can anodise the...
I'm in the same boat as you - picked up a 2009 world cup model a couple of months ago and I'm going to fully restore it - will be my 3rd sunday! Really stoked on it. Going to try and replicate the black/green bike from Earthed 5 but with modern drivetrain and brakes.
Don't know where you're...
Hey guys, does anyone have a vector image of the graphics kits that Slikgraphics used to do? I've reached out to them but not heard back.
Also, don't suppose anyone has the drawings of the -3* angle cups that were spoken about on here? Sounds like one guy got them made and shared the drawings...
Has anyone got some tips for giving the servowave piston / camshaft area a good clean and lubing to make the lever feel nice and smooth again? or any good style brushes for getting in there and scrubbing the dirt away? bit of an awkward area
The UK is having a bit of a sh*tter in terms of the weather this winter.. hopefully it will sort itself out soon.
Heres one from early autumn last year - Hawaiian shirt at the ready:
Always seeing them at crazy discounted prices on US online bikestores (UK guy here)... reckon they'll be gone for good and just clearing them out or will there eventually be an updated 650b version?
Would be a huge shame if they stopped making them, loved my fluro yellow one!
It's sweet, on loamy / natural and even loose rocky trails its awesome.
Although in the UK it's a draggy combo at trail center type trails, so I'm going to try the new nobby nic on the back next as that still looks like it would be awesome in loam but rolls faster. Completely sold on magic mary...
Gave my pitch a proper revamp for 2015, should be good for another couple years while I save for something fancier!
2014:
2015:
Changes:
Magic Mary / HD instead of HD / Nobby Nic, now tubeless
36 float rc2
fresh chain cassette etc
still 26" I know but i love it :) it rips
As above really, got some spacers for a fox float 32 on my hardtail but thinking of swapping in the revalation rlt ti fork i've just taken off my AM bike. Both forks are at 150 and i need them down to 100mm, would the fox spacers fit the rockshox?
Cheers!
Sold the dh bike and refurbished my Specialized pitch with some fresh paint and anodising and whacked some bigger forks on it, love it!
Just waiting for some graphics to arrive
Although it looks nice and clean its in desperate need of a service, all bearings dry as hell, forks twisted and generally makes a horrid noise despite very fussy applications of mastic tape!
Absolutely love the way it rides though, like a sunday, but better
edit: just seen the other dhr posts...
If you compare that front wheel to the 650b Lapierre #4 next to it and then the 26" #21 with the BOS fork, I would say that he's running 650b. Interested to see these Ohlns fork internals!
Hey,
I'm looking to get some elbow protection as its a requirement in the races out here in Europe. I never wear it because I usually find them uncomfortable, and I have a muscular problem in one of my forearms so I don't want them to restrict blood flow, but at the same time I don't want them...
Hi everyone,
I've got a 150x12 dt350 that needs some new bearings, managed to find out the main hub body bearings which are 6902 2rs but can't seem to find the freehub bearing codes anywhere! are they the same as the 240s?
Thanks
Hi there,
I'm getting some decals made by someone for my Idylles but they only have done Devilles before, they've created the design they just need some basic dimensions like length and width. Can any idylle owners do me a favour and quickly measure theirs?
Cheers!
Just finished up on an edit of some of my favourite clips over the last 3 years.
Filmed at Whistler, Morzine, Les Carroz, Les Deux Alpes, Chatel, Les Gets, and the UK.
Riding, skiing, partying, international sport.. everything!
Let the good times roll!
Make sure you watch in HD ;)...
