Let's not deny that there are a lot of people 5'7" and under who would have liked to be on a 29er. Personally, I have tried them extensively (single speed with and without shock, geared with and without shock, etc...), but I have found two drawbacks on 29ers that would disappear with 650B.

What's the best marketing you have seen in a long time?
I came across this one... which was like "classic":
A full face helmet is required to ride Timberline, no full face-no ride.
We do not rent DH bikes, protectve gear or helmets
Good or bad, we have no easy DH trails
The same entity...
You can race the DH on 1 bike and the Super D on another.
Your times will be separated.
If, however, you decide to race both on the same bike, you have a chance to place twice (see above) AS WELL as placing on the Big Kahuna (total of both races for a 3rd placement).
$35 ??????
Yes...
What course will the two races be on?
Looking forward to seeing a video preview - come on JR... I know you have plenty of time (right after hand-building those trails)
This is the unofficial flyer going out to everyone.
Hope to see you at Timberline.

Lift is open on weekends & holidays. There are a few exceptions, like TODAY where the lift is open all day. (I'll probably be one of 3 DH bikers out there with the whole mountain to myself)
Forecast (or wish list) for Timberline today:
Drying fast
Exploring the new work on trail
Exploring the new signage near the bottom (for Lift)
DH all day
I was wondering what "that MOUNT" was on your seatpost (facing forward).
Sorry we missed you on Sunday; turned out to be downright scary for my limited DH abilities (yes, that was early morning after the storm)...
Turned out to be incredibly fun in the afternoon.
Couple of people came out...
Nice work!
Timberline Resort (WV) now has a set schedule. They will be open every single weekend and all major Holidays - during the warmer months of course, because with 200+ inches of snow, they obvisouly will be open every single day for telemark, snowboarding and yes: fast alpine skiing...
