One of my useful neighbours took the initiative to head somewhere to pick exactly that up, I think he found it at Tractor Supply.
Two hours of snowblowing so far today and none of that is on flat terrain...
Fastenal not being open today is suboptimal. Need a strong grade of 1" x 6" bolt, washers and nuts to replace the king bolt which broke on the plow a few days ago...
6 hours of snow blowing, shoveling and plowing and I'm wrecked again. Still not got all the roads passable, a third of the houses still don't have a way in/out of the 'hood yet.
Don't care what happens, not leaving the house again today. Pulled a hamstring, better feel better tomorrow. I'm supposed to be flying on a riding holiday next week :/
Our DSO is a PITA like that sometimes. We'd worked with the new place and alerted them to what she was like :/
She was a rescue who'd clearly had a shitty early life and we haven't been able to train the tendency out of her to try and murder things occasionally...
Thigh high here and our plow blade ain't working properly and it's stranded at the bottom of the biggest hill in our 'hood. I just spent 2 1/2hrs with the snowblower clearing the hill below our house so that the plow can be driven up it. Now it's still just sitting there at the bottom still...
@Nick is down on the Kansas border, the city will plow his road eventually :D. We're 1800ft higher up and our roads have to be plowed by us as the county doesn't cover them. Likely will need a back hoe to dig out if we can't get it running again this morning ASAP.
