Ok so I was looking at the design of the crown of the fork and I was wondering if a 29er wheel with a 29x2.1 tire would fit in the 26" Model (400mm AtC)? I need a low AtC for my monstercross build.
Ill have to get some pics snapped but currently for road use Im on a custom built All-City Big Block and I love it, simply amazing quality and ride, it has become one of my lifer bikes at this point. This is actually my second AC bike I had a Def Wish (trick 700/29er bike) but it was a size too...
fair enough Im glad they have lasted for you, I dont mean any disrespect but I have not heard very good reviews from some riders I know and trust their opinion, and I know every frame can brake under the right conditions Ive seen too many posted about newer SE's. To me I would rather check out...
ok back from the dead this project had to be put on hold for many reasons but Im looking to get started again.
Now If i remember correctly shimano front der. has the same indexing both mountain and road? so I can just run an STI shifter to the mountain front derailleur? again im still a SRAM...
I just did some quick math, and the Sunday has a 38.25mm BB rise while my czar has +35...might be a good choice since personally my czar doesnt feel rediculously high to me personally
Eater of Dog u know I cant afford that Dmac shiet, thats why Im on a Czar 24! lol Im just lookin for something different since I have to sell off a ton of my bikes, I will basically have my trials and thats it.
the BB on the Sunday is rediculously high, higher than a lot of trials rigs lol...
I may be on the market for a cruiser so glad I found this thread since I dont know a lot about BMX lol
Going to be riding streets
So Im lookin at the sunday wave-c and spec P.24, The liquid looks sweet but it checking out the geo is seems like its way more DJ biased than street. Im lookin...
Title pretty much sums it up, looking to run a set of rims on my roadie/all arounder that has 19mm wide rims (internal width) charts say dont dip below a 28c, heard chatter that 23c and up are fine? were they referring to outer width? (which would then probally have more liike a 17mm inner width...
damn this is the second time someones referred me to Jimmydean it seems he is the man for odd bikes/builds lol
and its up on their site, its basically a lower BB, slacker HTA and a slightly longer travel (+6mm in the rear) with the brain ripped out
Edit: Just sent him a PM hopefully hear...
Ok so the new stumpy caught my eye and I said hey wtf is this all about, its not the standard EVO with a 1x10 drivetrain?
So What do you guys think of her? It seems like they are trying to form the Stumpy EVO into a real All-Mountain rig with a FR/DH vibe instead of a XC/AM rig?
I know...
the pulley device I was talking about is the Jtek shiftmate's, simple design but seems to do what is needed and correct the indexing issues there might be.
Is a sram road double really that much less spaced than a mountain one?
Ok very cool my ideal set up is...
Rival or Force Shifter
X9 or X0 double crankset
10speed Casette
X9 Rear Derailleur
Lastly either a X9 Front Derailleur or Apex if I have to go roadie.
its a double so I figure with travel adjustments and such it should run fine? Wouldnt it be better...
Ok so I have not really found an actual answer for this set up. Im considering creating a monstercross kinda bike but leaning way more towards mountain (XC, and general trail riding nothing crazy aggressive or DHish) than cross. I wanna run gears, a 2x10 SRAM Mountain set up but with SRAM roadie...
Well for the rear as far as I understand theyre all indexed the same, so I can run the Rival/Force lever straight back to a X9 or X0 shifter.
Its the front where differ and where most people have issues, given I have also heard a double (like what I want) is much easier to get working than a...
damn it I was waiting for that, I personally prefer SRAM way over Shimano, it has just impressed me a lot more.
Is there anyway to get this to work? I remember seeing some people running a pulley system to correct the difference in throws to run smoothly? I cant remember who made them though...
