Spitfire love is strong in this thread. I will reconsider them.
Anyone else want to chime in on the climbing prowess of the sb66? The talk of slack seat angle has me perturbed but im sure anything will pedal better than my pure single pivot bike of now...
Ill throw the blur TRc in the ring...
So im used frame shopping. Id like to spend about a thousand bucks.. (meaning 1500 probably)
Cat 1 rider, like the rest of yall :D who goes for the KOMs but im getting older and 30 mile epics are more and more appealing..
what other frames in the quiverkiller category am i missing...
perhaps you should hammer on the boring bits and flow more on the goods.
Should you practice harder anpt the stuff youre already good at? Or practice (train) on the stuff you need improvement?
I have a 2012 operator and have ridden entourages before i purchased mine and after. Two riding buddies have them. One medium the other a large. Dont plan on pedalling the entourage to the top of any trails. It sucks even on fireroads. Its a park bike...not a freeride bike. Manuals, pumps and...
2012 operator with standard issue suspension right now. Van rc with only compression adjustment. 300 lbs spring (155 lb rider)
Question is.. I want to upgrade to a double barrel or the double barrel air? I dont know very much about leverage ratios and progressive or linear talk. I know it all...
...yeaaaa the title is about all I know about being clipped in or clip less or spd or whatever the heck it's called.
I race downhill at the amateur level, get rowdy on trail bikes and torture myself on my road bike sprinting mostly like it's a downhill run.
I've never rode anything but...
On the medium. Have u adjusted the placement of the thoracic brace?
It bolts into the 'frame' with two plastic spacers. If you move both spacers rearward (inversely, the strut forward) it snugs up the feel. Helped mine considerably. 5ft 10 and a buck fifty
A riding buddy recently broke his 4th (!!) mission frame. Warranty will be here soon he says..
project is awesome though, bro. hope it rides like you hoped
this adjustment made all the difference!
I also was able to slam the back plate down by another 'smidge' also.
Now it is just up to me getting used to wearing it. my helmet contacts is occasionally but nowhere near the obstruction of my first ride.
Thanks :thumb:
Thanks for the link skull crack
I will continue my research and ride a bit more with my current helmet and see what happens. The 661 helmet is looking very appealing though..:D
Xmas gift to myself was a DBX comp. However my helmet has been slammed against the back plate for most of the riding I have done.
I suppose I could get more used to it but if my giro remedy is causing some of the problem I need to do just that.. Remedy it! Har har har :D
I am aware that...
I just bought one of these. sandblasted the frame and have started buying a few parts for it. bought the 5 inch adjustment Reverb and Hammerschmidt should arrive shortly..
67 HA, 13 BB, stays are 16.5 or 17

my Haro X7 has been dishing out the fun times for 3 solid years.
