Pictures of old and obscure suspension bikes

Was a stupid idea when Muddy Fox tried it with the RocknRoll in the mid 90's. Still stupid now. Just picked up a Cannondale SE1000, will post pics soon.

    race face narrow wide chainring

No clutch = it will fall off, unless you are riding the bike path. Clutch = it can still fall off, not a big deal on the trail, but more of a deal in a race.

WHAAAAttt? Specialized/Ohlins don't care if the shock they develop fits an out of production bike? What is the bike industry coming to?

    Sram XX1

Customer here has made a spider that sits behind a 10 speed cassette and has 110mm chainring spacing. He's running a 39t chainring bolted to that. Enduro thread

Honestly, that long day of the 4 kings was the most fun(suffering) i've had on a bike for a long while, mostly because slackers like me could spin some miles with whippets like you without you being held back in the results. The Zerode thread

I've actually ridden a Zerode, a couple of years ago, and couldn't remember anything significant. Pretty much was the opposite kind of trail that i would think it might be a problem on.

    The Zerode thread

How do you guys feel about the doubling up of the free play of the hub and the freehub? Is it ever an issue - say in tight twisty trails, punching out of corners? I thought most designs like this used a fixed rear hub? I don't know why it has taken me so long to think about this one..
