i picked up some formula the ones 2010 without adapters (all were out of stock) and the old adapter for my avid elixirs are not playing with my new brakes, the brakes are 2-3mm too high and im not getting full pad contact

what kind of oil weight am i supposed to be putting in the lowers in a 2010 40? the manual says 7wt.. yet the oil volumes chart ( http://www.foxracingshox.com/fox_tech_center/owners_manuals/010/eng/index.html ) says 7wt for the pre-2010 models and 10wt for everything for 2010

i dont care for any protection at all, i ride no gloves normally but to race in france its against the rules to ride without gloves so i have to put something on..
