    Get a used set of Profiles. Lighter than most other bmx cranks and a proven crank at that. Other than that I would say WTP but those are kinda heavy and pricey.

    That looks like a DJ setup or a slalom setup minus a front brake. On a street bike you dont really need gears or a chain guide.

    Bmx hubs are more narrow than Mtb hubs. There is not a company that makes a bmx spaced hub with a casset large enough to hold gears.     3/8 axles vs. 14mm axles

    If you are running pegs then a rear 14mm axle is a neccesity. Otherwise it depends. If you are a big guy then maybe you should run them or if you are planning on running pegs in the future.     The more you ride the better you get. The one thing that I would emphasize is ride trails. I wish I would have started riding real trails, it teaches you everything that will help you with grinding gapping manualing and hopping. Dirt Jumping skills also carryover to mountainbiking

    That bike is a tank, I loved it when I was DirtJumping on it but I could barely get the thing up a curb. They bike dirt jumps like the best of them, it accelerates a lot once you get it moving.
