    Xprezo Adhoc 650b

I dont see the advantage of enduro bearing, I would rather have a properly sealed cage bearing then the enduro bearing with crappy seals. Or have they changed that by now because the enduro bearings I had didnt seal properly.

2014 Bible of Bike Tests Roundtable Reels: Trek Remedy 27.5

Thanks for the review, really liked it. I went to check out a Remedy at the LBS but they where pretty adamant that I would need a 18.5" even though I am 6feet tall... They only had a 18.5" in the showroom so hopefully they are willing to build up a 19.5" to try the difference. Going by your...

Help Me Choose a New Frame - 3 choices.

A friend of mine and myself are both riding and racing a '09 Supreme DH for about 10months now. Overall I am really satisfied with the bike. But with both our bikes the linkage got play in them really easily. That is caused by overtightening of the bolts wich causes the aluminium rings to...

Hope Moto piston depth setting tool for 2mm rotors?

shimano has blocks to put in the caliper while bleeding, maybe you could just use those. or if you got the tools just make alu blocks.

    Leatt Brace helmet compatibility?

it is of little use to ask other people about their fitment experiences. (or maybe I just diverge of the average a lot) To use my TLD D2 with a leat brace I had to put it in the lowest position with flipped nuts and then grind of 1cm of the helmet to get enough clearance. A friend of mine also...

Alrighty, so, my boxxers do NOTHING.

-first you didnt have any damping, not on compression or rebound. -then you added shims to the rebound piston which gave you proper rebound but gave you too much compression? how can rebound shims affect compression? Have you put the lsc adjuster back in the moco unit properly?

Alrighty, so, my boxxers do NOTHING.

what did you change? because this doesnt make sense. You can switch everything from left to right and it wont change anything. From what I can imagine the red circled parts are switched between left and right and you still get all the oil in the lower part of the stanchion.

    2010 Commencal "SPY" shots

I have been riding a 09 supreme DH for 2~3 months now. A friend of mine has one for 4~5 months. In the beginning some of the links came loose a couple of times. But now they all stay fixed. After having ridden a Socom that was pretty lightweight. I prefer to have a bit heavier bike if that...

    Ft William Live!

maybe a roadie chooses where the cameras are set up, nice pedally sections with lots of straights. Last year they had a camera on a structure that covered a big part of the top section. That combined with at least one camera in the woods would have been awesome.

Strong & light rims for DH?

Another vote for the equalizers http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=26286 A friend of mine and myself have used them for more then 2 months now. And they hold up better then I expected. I have used them in Bad Wildbad where EX721 and EN521 rims seem to get trashed quite...

    DH pedals (FLATS FTW!!)

Pretty funny that nukeproof has (what it seems to me) the exact same pedals, http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=34278 Nukeproofs Neutron pedal is the same as the Deity pedal http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=35916...

    M6 Spring Rub

you could get a steel spring, more coils/lower pitch gives less bending, I think. Or just tape the shock body and replace that on a regular basis.

Luis Arraiz - MTB Science - Dirt mag

Isnt there a pretty big contradiction in there or am I reading it wrong? K9 says they have a granted patent but also say it all is prior art so cant be patented?

suspension guru's: need help with final year project!

Being a scientist is funn, you are allowed to do "useless" research. but yeah it might be usefull to have a shock with a wide range of easy to do adjustment. But on the other hand people already know what a good effective wheel damping would be and you can calculate the desired shock curve...

suspension guru's: need help with final year project!

from what I understand dhkid doesnt want active suspension(really actuate the system, needs high energy levels) but just electronics to create a certain speed/position sensitive damping curve. From my point of view that would give semi-active suspension (needs only low energy levels to adjust...
