    One Last Day at the North Fork

    SSDs are awesome

    My laptop (2011 MBP) now boots to a fully loaded useable desktop in just about 12 seconds, from over a minute and a bit before on the 7200rpm HDD. One hell of an upgrade. Not to mention, I now have a spare 500gb HDD to use for photo storage while travelling. WINNING. :weee:

    So I'm unloading my third backup body, a Canon 1D Mk2. Has a newish shutter (50 000 or so shots), serviced by canon pro services etc. I just don't need 4 bodies and could use the cash. It's in the classifieds at $900cnd, but make me an offer I can't refuse.

    Kamloops fun!

    I love this time of year. The light, the foliage, the dirt. I managed to convince the big guy to bring his little bike and we went on a day trip up to Kamloops to ride some trails. It's Dh related, because he's old school badass on another level.
