    More Pro-Gun Propaganda

Holy hell. I leave for five years and come back to this? And it's still on the front page? More firearms, less mac & cheese. Let's make 'Murica great again.

    More Pro-Gun Propaganda

I'm kind of surprised this hasn't been posted yet. Makes me feel better about my decision to carry. http://www.abc4.com/content/about_4/bios/story/conceal-and-carry-stabbing-salt-lake-city-smiths/NDNrL1gxeE2rsRhrWCM9dQ.cspx

    Ultrabook v. Desktop + Tablet

I'm going back to school (which includes a cross country move) and my laptop is on its last legs. While waiting for it to die completely, I'm looking for some input. I will be bike commuting ~100 miles per week between work and school which will undoubtedly hasten my computer's death. I'm...

    CCW Choices: .380 v. .357/9mm

Nothing really, just looking for a new toy and something smaller. I have probably 7500 rounds through it and it just feels a bit slutty and predictable...I have an opening in my arsenal and would like to fill it with something new and shiny. And GFF...I'm fully aware of this. Thanks to my...

    CCW Choices: .380 v. .357/9mm

After carrying my G19 for several months of 100+ degree weather, I'm looking for opinions on other options. Also, having recently moved to the ghetto (2 separate incidents of non-LEO shots fired in <1.5 weeks) I'm looking for 24/7 comfort...or at least manageable discomfort. I'm certainly...

How do you tote your kit?

I second this, though depending on the ICU you have, it can be a lot of unnecessary pack/weight. Great pack for splitboarding/AT though. I even travel with mine a fair amount.

Why is Santa Barbara the best town ever?

    Trick question: it isn't.

    New to SLO area

There's a good amount of riding, but sadly the views are better than the riding for the most part; then again I'm spoiled having grown up riding Laguna. My time in the area is drawing to a close, but hit me up and I'll tell you what little I know.

    Newly Unemployed

After much discussion, the girlfriend and I are packing up and hitting the road in late March. The game plan as of now is to start on the eastern Sierras, go for Mt. Tyndall and Williamson, snowboard in Mammoth, climb some ice in Lee Vining, snowboard Tahoe, visit friends in the bay area then...

    Newly Unemployed

I was leaning towards the road trip idea myself. Any suggestions? Eastern Sierras will most certainly be included...especially now that there's snow.

    Newly Unemployed

As of this morning, I was informed my services are no longer needed. I have enough saved up to live quite comfortably and I have reliable seasonal work and a part time gig as soon as June. What should I do?

    Is this a fake gun?

I've run several calls with 10-12yr olds and real guns. Granted, that was in the 'hood, but just sayin'...

Alright, Pandemic/Zombie outbreak. Choose One Vehicle and Three Weapons.

Given real world constraints, practicality, and readiness of availability, my choices would be: Toyota 4x4 with the 22re motor (I've seen it run on ethanol of the 1.75L variety) And I'm not sure what type of hit kills zombies, but I'm assuming brain disruption here, in which case...

what song moves you the most?

Alan Jackson- Remember When The song itself has almost nothing to do with it, but when a friend sold his truck ("The Piece" or "El Pedazo" after the 500), he put together a video with a bunch of pictures and clips from a lot of time spent in the desert. If I've been drinking enough, it'll...

For the first time in four years...

All of my bikes (newest edition included) are in completely working order. More importantly, I'm back on them after a several year hiatus. It feels good to be back. And a glimpse into manboy heaven
