I can more than sympathize with Gee, as I am currently out with the same injury. :(

As seen on Gee's Twitter feed. A crash while training this week yielded a broken tibia for Gee Atherton of GT / Atherton Racing. Good luck with the healing Gee. Bummed to hear...
I saw this thread on MTBR by 29ers. The same company also makes 26" rims, and is in the process of coming out (supposedly at the end of this month) with a wider 26er that will come in at 30mm wide (external), 23mm wide (internal), and 23mm depth...which is wider than ZTR Flows. 330g vs. 470g...
For the Fanbois:
Well the folks at Specialized have surprised Sam Hill with his own signature version of his favorite tire.
A few of the guys stopped by our office and shared some interesting details about their new tires, development process and left us plenty of samples.

I saw an ATV race, and the announcer said racers were using Tire Balls. Anyone try using this or similar products for MTB? I wonder what the weight penalty is...

A Bike Park In SoCal? Heck, yes!
The RancheThe Ranch at Elizabeth Lake, just northeast of Valencia, California, is currently turning this landscape into a bike park, complete with downhill and cross-country trails, a...
My local trail has this g-out that has a steep entrance and really throws you up and out of it with speed. I almost crashed today because the rear really pushed me up and bucked me forward as I reached the top of g-out. I really don't remember having this problem with my other bike or my old...
Which one to get?
Sport model cost $200 more. Weighs 70g (0.15lb) less. I read somewhere it has more adjustments, but their website doesn't show the differences as far as I can tell.

Is the Sport model worth the extra $$$? Or just...
Medium w/ black links. BOS Stoy. MRP G2. I have all the components except the fork. The ironic thing is after waiting 5 months for the bike, I have to wait 3 more months due to a fractured wrist (scaphoid). Can't ride or work on the bike. Might as well wait for the new Boxxer.

Just a quick question. If you are putting Maxxis Minion DHF on rear as well as front, which direction should it be? Lot of tires are flipped when you put on the back. Is this the case w/ Minion DHF, or same direction as the front? Thanks in advance.
Just wondering if there are 12mm versions of QR or skewers out there. I know DT Swiss RWS is 10mm for the rear. There are QR for the 20mm front wheel. If I want to use 12mm for the rear, I am stuck with axles that I need tools for. Has anyone found a solution?
Thanks in advance.
