it's very technical for a normal XC'er but any intermediate DH or freerider should be able to pick a good line and make it down relatively easy. In high school I did it on a hardtail with a rockshocks judy, toe clips, and cantilever brakes.

there's some jumps around. The city dirt jumps are getting a little better (goose gossage skate park). Your best bet is to go there and ask other riders. I'll be there for a little while on saturday (say noon to 1pm)
The valley was great.
Colorado springs is nice, city convenience and is much closer to the mountains than Denver. The city is conservative (opposite of Boulder, Den is middle of the road)
