Before I actually knew what it was I assumed it was an indoor dirt park. When I found out it was just a bike specific skate park it did not seem like the "cool place" everyone makes it out to be. Maybe I'm wrong, but what's so exciting about an indoor skatepark for bikes?
Sounds like you stole it, or have never resold a bike before. Used stuff should be about 50% what you paid for it, so, you add it up. It's a good bike, you should know what it's worth. Weird question to ask. This isn't the stock market and we're not speculators.
I have been barely riding, but I have been hitting some street and they are solid. This summer I am barely gonna be off of that bike, except to ride Cru's 24" BMX, which he will eventually give to me for free if I keep asking.
The DMR bars had a real weird sweep on them for me. The firefly bars are the only on the list that look descent. I have ridden the AL bars before and they were cool.
I've liked the NS Jalapeno(2.75") and the Blkmrkt Bada-booms(3.0").
You can not buy springs from manitou to replace sherman springs anymore. and the tool and dye springs do not sit flush. So if the spring is fine for you then you're set, if not, you have some modification to do and then it still might not be perfect.
I love how a lot of guys say this. Like you're the babysitter? Not saying you don't love hanging with your kid, I'm just of the age where I hear this from other guys a lot. A little social commentary on raising Women never say, "My husbands out riding bikes so I gotta take care of our kid."...
Brad, I was under the impression that you were a fabricator and a welder? At least that's the impression I have gotten by the way talk on the boards. Is it true that you have other people design, weld and produce your frames/bars/etc? Curious why you need to have a "shop" to get all of this...
Dude asked for comments, comments were given. This isn't CNN or FOX news, you don't always get the comments you are looking for. Maybe it could be posted in the freeride section, I think more folks might be psyched to see a guy staying in between the lines a few feet of the ground?
Seems like you could do the same thing riding your bike in circles in a parking lot, then dropping off the loading docks. I don't see the point to all that nailing/building? Is it that fun to be 7 ft off the ground riding in a straight line?
