Hey, 29'er soon-to-be here. I'm starting with the Monocog and the LBS doesn't have one to size with. I'm 5'11" and have gone with 18" frames before--do you change and go shorter with a 29'er?

My dad throws together what amounts to a gumbo--veggies, chicken, rice, tomato juice/chunks, potatoes. Now, all I need to do is sneak in some okra and Andouille sausage and HOOOWEEE we got a cajun gumbo.

I started out on a full-rigid Trek (it's all I had). I'm still nursing a bum elbow from the beating I took (tons of roots on my local trail).

Don't do Swiss Army. I had one with a rubber wristband and the band started cracking and finally broke. While I was waiting for one to come into stock, the mechanism broke.
I've got a Seiko for nice places and an Ironman cheapie for fun places. Good luck.TC
