I'm about to embark on my final day at PDS.
I rode Les Gets, Morzine (Plenty), Chatel, and the Avoriaz DH runs. Today I'm heading back to Chatel (that place is the real deal) and I'm going to try the Super Morzine trails. I thought Les Gets was terrible due to all the braking bumps, except...
I'm here for 5-8 days with the wife - if anyone is around, please hit me up. I have no idea how to navigate all of this terrain, but I also just arrived in town a few hours ago.
I need to find a bike rental shop tomorrow as well if anyone happens to have any suggestions.
Abstain from routine dental services in your 20's, literally pay for it in your 30's.
I was hoping this dude from Portugal would hit top 10 but it's not looking so good. Hill's flat grass turns are so insanely awesome.
Wow - that was so intense. I didn't want Brosnan to win until he crossed the finish line and I realized what a feat he accomplished. I'm even more stoked to see Hill on the podium.
I was thinking about that earlier. I distinctly remember the ol blue rocket soaring over me at the snowshoe road gap. At least I hope I remember that properly.
There's really no reason for me to have a world cup race bike. That being said, I did try to get a TR500 but they were all sold out...
For risk of sounding like a total fanboi, I didn't even know the Enduro EVO existed before Jesus rode it at PMB and now I kind of want one. I think it would suit my riding style really well and possibly even allow me to excel in the ultra-competitive, ever-illustrious Cat 2 age 30-39 grassroots...
Sorry to hijack this thread, but have brakes drastically improved over the last 4-5 years? I have an older set of Saints ('07-'08) that I'd like to put back into play, but after paying to bleed them, I could be 1/4 of the way to a new set, so I've been all wishy-washy about it.
Well I had a B5 S4 and "problematic" doesn't even begin to cover what it was. It's my own fault though because I went Stage 3 and did all the work (I'm definitely not a pro).
Anyway, I have at least 200 hours under the hoods of Audis and I would probably get the 3.0 Avant as a...
Thanks so much everyone! You guys have been tremendously helpful and I really appreciate it.
So I decided that I was going to go and then the tour people ran out of bikes (it's a pre-event for a global entrepreneur conference I'm attending). So I'm waiting to hear back, but there's a chance...
Awesome - this is EXACTLY what i wanted to hear. Thanks!!
Did you use any of the same equipment? This trip is expensive (understatement) and I am trying hard to save as much as I can (though I'm going regardless because it's for a global conference).
