    Just got the third quote for our water heater. $1k less than the last one. So much more reasonable, that tankless (my preferred) is actually on the table and less than our first estimate... So yeah.

    Figured out today. We're going to Mission San Gabriel and then the La Brea Tar Pits. Flashback to my elementary school years, but they are pretty cool things to do in LA area that won't break the bank and you can do when it's raining.
