Where do all of you live? like which dorms? Im at college 10, second year, i havent ridden yet, too much work riding up hills, but if you all go dirtjumping, or urban riding let me know, i might be down.
I am from and live in Mountain View, California. The name says it all, we have an amazing view of the mountains, which means we also get to use those mountains plenty. Good riding, lots of roadie biking if your into that, Calabazas isnt too far, LOTS OF HOTTIES, good schools, nice climate...
First thing i got to say is who cares which way you train, if it works for you it works for you, lets not argue over something so unimportant. second, i suggest you try out the different styles everyone has suggested for a minimum of 12 weeks, that will give you a good idea if it works for you...
what kind of knocking are we talking about? like when the fork compresses or what? My fork sounds like death, sounds like the crown is going to snap, just creaks so bad, any time i break with the front, or hit anything, i hear its normal and nothing to worry about, if your talking someting else...

Does that mean your riding everyday? If you are do you have any lighter days? Why are you also lifting, is it absolutely necessary? If its absolutely necessary than try and get it in on the days that are the easiest as far as cycling goes, you might also try only 2 days of lifting a week...

I think that looks like a sick ride, let us know how it rides!

of the ones you listed, i would go with the Z1 Fr, and only that one, the damping in all the others isnt very good, and since you said you plan on doing a...
not really contributing, but has anyone tried the stealth hubs?

seems like it would be pretty cool to have a silent bike, and if they perform like they say they do they should be pretty sweet.
ive produced similar effect by using a camera mounted on a tripod, and using a lens with zoom, as you shoot the picture zoom from in, or zoom out, that is what creates that effect.
or at least thats what i think
i second the patriot, theres lots of good trails around, pacifica, UCSC, calabzas for DJ's, well, the list goes on, but yeah, the Full suspension would be my choice
