That guy has been causing problems on the VT/ NH forums for years. If you didn't know any better you would think he was the only trail builder, rider in VT. On occasion I understand his frustration about trails getting commercialized etc, BUT he moved from NJ to one of the most touristy towns...
Those top few hit look nuts. I hope Thunder keeps adding trails. A lot of the stuff is starting to get a bit blown out ( Billy Badger, Trillium etc,). I'm heading there on Friday- CANT WAIT!
Whats funny is most of the guys I know that are buying ebikes race either DH or Enduro at a VERY high level and want the bike so they can get more runs in. They are not dentists, nor are they out of shape slubs. In fact some of them can ( and do) race Expert XC as well. E-Bikes are just...
I was able to demo an Intense Tazer e-bike on a recent trip down to Bentonville AR. I was expecting to not like the feel, but was blown away how much fun it was. The climbs became "fun", and the bike absolutely shredded on the downs. Prior to this trip I would not have even considered buying...
I have it in my MRP Stage fork and really like it. It makes a noticeable difference in how progressive the forks feels without having to take the fork apart and add or subtract volume spacers.
The upper trails off of the gondola are slick and very wet. The lower stuff off Ramshead and the Snowshed lift are ripping. Awesome day today on the mountain!
I've been pretty happy with the eThirteen TRSr set up. Sidewalls are plenty strong, and the grip and traction is MUCH better than the Minions they replaced. They are a bit slower rolling for trail rides( super soft rubber, etc), but for park riding, and/ or wet conditions they have been great.
Definitely get one that has a lower strap that goes around your waist, stomach etc. My current pack only has a strap that goes around my chest, and it flops around all over the place on any trail that has the slightest amount of tech. Other than that I buy whatever is cheapest...
Agreed. I was thinking of racing the enduro next weekend, but with rain in the forecast and my crappy skills on of steep off camber roots- I think I might just ride local!
I've got the Rock Shox Super Deluxe on my Pistola, and it is awesome. I think a coil shock for a 120 or 130 bike might be a wee bit of overkill- but options are good so who cares!
