I posted a pic somewhere that should give you a few hints. Partsy has sworn off RM because of the blowhard cunts all over the place so I best not say directly where he is. But Wydaho is a decent hint.
Finally got in the way of this, arrived back in Japan Monday night last week from Wydaho and by Thursday was coming down with something, a little souvenir from your fine country I suspect. Still worth every bit of discomfort to have been able to spend a couple of weeks riding there. Wasn't a bit...
Top of the chairlift at Grand Targhee and yes me and Partsy did ride from the car park though it was almost the finish of me. Might pick a more suitable bike next time than my old 2007 36lb Reign but I went with what I had. Or. you know, put our bikes on the chairlift but neither of us are that...
I must do a little shout out to FC Moto in Germany https://www.fc-moto.de/en/Bicycle
About a year ago I was in the market for a bike bag. After trying various shops in every nook and cranny of the Internet it was these guys who finally shipped me an EVOC bag, 10% off with shipping very...
Yeah the durability is likely questionable and I wouldn't be surprised if these rotors are only really suitable for resin pads. Still I'd be happy with them being merely adequate considering the price, as I say it's an experiment.
If I'd characterize the Shimano icetech rotors and finned pads as being whisper quiet all the time, at least in my experience, then the Zrace rotors aren't that. Not noisy by any stretch but not as smooth for want of a better word. Shimano rotors have been really durable for me too and that...
As previously mentioned they're not as good as Shimano rotors but you wouldn't expect them to be. Once I take Leafy's advice and file off the sharp edges I'll report back.
Is that what it is? I noticed those fuckers will slice you up given half a chance. Do you think it's worth getting that edge off? I sort of notice what Daisycutter was talking about as well, not noisy but not quiet.
I rarely post anything compared to bitd Woo but I still read the forums. Remains the best place on the internet to nerd out on spring rates, leverage curves and other things I don't properly understand but feel much cleverer to have read. Leafy did a good job explaining shim stacks, at least I...
Yes I can imagine that situation not exactly filling you full of tender thoughts for the boffins at Cane Creek. Other than that are you happy with the shock? What one have you got?
Yes I have heard the service costs are substantial. However the present (older) shock is completely blown, unserviceable in Japan, unable to be sent overseas due to postal regulations and unavailable/sold out in a newer model in my size as far as I can discover in the 6 months I've been looking...
I picked up a CC DB Air IL in the odd size I need from the zee Germans the other day for 210 Euros plus 20 shipping. I thought it must have been a mistake price cos nowhere else had them even close to that price but anyway it's apprarently shipped so we'll see. Don't know if they are any good...
