I use the Kelvin scale for my WB settings, these were all shot at 6200K.
I wanted to bump up the reds as much as I could to make the dirt contrast with the surprisingly green plants.
Maybe I overcompensated a bit much.
Saturation was bumped up by +7 in CS4 on all of these shots.
I can't stand...
You passed me right when I started dicking around with slow shutter speeds... I got a shot of you from a similar angle as the first shot, but IMO it sucks.
If you want me to, I'll upload it to Flickr tomorrow.
You looked pretty fast to me, definitely cleaner than most.
Welp... After about 5 years of wanting to, I finally made it up to Fontanatucky. I didnt race because I don't have one of those expensive two-wheeled contraptions, though I really wanted to!.
So I took some photos instead.
A couple more can be found here...
Hey guys...
I just moved into Longmont from San Diego and am planning on staying here until sometime next summer. I dont ride much anymore (last time I rode a bike in the RM sense was probably a good year ago) but I have become super into photography...
I was hoping that there were some...
Ya, bare. No shock or anything.
I put about another $1000 into it in components, new frame hardware, and the rest of the crap I put in to that bike...
I guess I could probably get that much for everything together... If someone wanted to buy it that way.
If I got the fork fixed
('07 888SL)...
I'm going to sell my DH bike and most of the components, but I dont really know a price to put on it...
Its a medium 2007 Rotec RL9 factory red frame in pretty good shape cosmetically, structurally, this thing will never break. Has some tire rub from bottoming out, but it didn't do so much to...

it should have two separate thread positions, so it will take both...
i just run mine with the BB flange... personally i like it better, but my new Gamut is ISCG, so i'll have to run that...
youre going to be posting your completed build pics right?
i own an RL9 and i still cant...
well i was going to give it three hours, but figured i'd be safe with one...
tell you the truth, i bet i could handle it, i've done quite alot with my bike in hand, and pushing it up a mountain like SJ is definitley extreme, but borderline manageable... and i know i could get Factory CostcoDH...
damn those rocks look fun! nice video, its flowy and the angles are nice
makes me yearn for my bike again!
de-interlace... wish i would have figured that one out a long time ago!
:bonk::huh::banghead::imstupid:
DUH!
this is what i get for not touching a bike for six months... i forget everything about them!
YES, THE DHX WILL FIT, the CCDB was the shock i was thinking of...
dunno why i would be so adamant about something after having nothing to do with it for half a...
exactly, i have yet to do that to mine, but at the same time, i run a Romic... so no reservoir
but either way, there isnt a problem with running the shock (supposedly) upside down... and theres a benefit from it too! all the adjustments on the reservoir are totally exposed and not tucked away...
your DHX 5 will ft the frame, youre just going to have to run the reservoir down by the tire... theres no clearance for the reservoir in between the seatstay pivots, thats the only reason.
i'm sure you will be insanely stoked when the bike arrives! and even moreso the first time you ride it...
truth
the Rotec carries speed through eveything imaginable! the rear end is so responsive throughout every bit of travel, and unless you hit something bad with your front end, theres just no slowing the bike down... even with my two-years-since-rebuild Romic
another bonus is that there is...
yerba mate all the way
i'll keep 2 liters of it in my backpack when i'm riding, the stuff is mindblowing! keeps your energy constant all day long, its overflowing with antioxidants, and its totally organic
and it doesnt taste any differnt than the dirt youre riding on!
rad, thanks for the info
mealsonwheels, yeah, ever since i first contemplated hiking it when i was 13 i've been hearing gnarly stories about it... i mean sheesh, the mtn. even looks sketchy from 20mi away!
i'm actually considering throwing this hike off until spring break because i know...
Blindside for sure.
You don't need customized rear suspension, different headset cups, and you won't have to explain to everyone who asks, "how is that trek better than the rest?", they'll just see the TBC logo and think, "siiick!".
Haha
Yeah, I share the same view on trek as Zark... :P
